    The Hasty Group provided property management for a rental home we own. In August of 2024, we discovered that the new dishwasher and install we paid The Hasty Group for in November of 2023 was never purchased or installed. On 11/21/23, The Hasty Group billed received payment of $565 for a new dishwasher and installation at the rental home. On 07/11/2024, The Hasty Group billed us and received payment of $162.50 for a maintenance call to check the dishwasher and told us no problem could be found. This maintenance call was performed on the old dishwasher that was never replaced. In July of 2024 we terminated the property management agreement. We have since requested that The Hasty Group reimburse these false charges billed to us. They have refused to do so and have also refused to return the keys to the rental property. Attached are the account transactions with these charges highlighted.

    **** **** emailed me about the dishwasher issue in August of 2024 and demanded reimbursement for the dishwasher and “interest” for the dishwasher not actually being replaced. She was confrontational immediately. I called our third party contractor who was hired to replace the dishwasher. He said he remembered the house and wanted to confirm the dishwasher wasn’t actually replaced. **** **** denied him any access to the property to rectify the situation which is required in the state of Missouri. Nobody has refused or denied her anything.

    We have no management agreement with *** ***** Therefore she needs have a representative come pick up any keys or items related to the property.

    I no longer wish to communicate with this business and will be taking legal action to get our stolen money and items back from this business owner. I would like to have my complaint made public on your site so that others are not also harmed by this business owner.

    The hasty group was our previous property management. Our new property management took over in April. After some confusion we paid the hasty group for a month’s worth of rent that was supposed to go to new property management. They informed us that it cannot be refunded and that they will transfer it to our new property management. New property management informed us that our rent has to be paid through the “portal”. I’ve tried contacting the hasty group multiple times and no luck.

    Hi,

    The person who submitted the complaint was a former tenant that paid us by accident for April rent. We explained that we could send the rent over to the new management company, however we never received any information on the new management company from the tenant, landlord, or the management company themselves. When payments are submitted it takes 5-7 business days for our third party to finalize accounts. We would not issue a refund until this payment cleared our account. The money did not clear until this week and the tenant has been contacted to pick up their rent that was paid to us. The main issue is that the tenant didn't listen and pay his rent to the new landlord and instead paid us. Instead of waiting for his rent to clear he decided to slander our name with the BBB and the landlord. These are actions we also take very seriously.

    I am rejecting this response because: In order to get a response from the hasty group llc I had to make a fake email and inquire about another listing. I then received a number to call about said listing. The hasty group never reached out to me after multiple calls and voicemails. Nor did they respond to emails or texts on their text line. The hasty group did not refund me, I had to pay an additional 35 dollars to the bank to dispute the charge. I do not believe I slandered the hasty group or the owner by any means. I only stated the situation and the facts. The report was made before I made the fake email and got an agents number.

    I personally spoke with the person who made the complaint. We had a day set up for him to come pick up the rent that he paid to us. He never showed up and indicated that he had to pay $35 and that we chose not to refund him which is not true. If the new property manager didn't communicate to him that he needed to pay them rent then the complaint needs to be with them. Him paying our company rent was not something we had demanded he do. We had several people out when he was calling so there was a delay in responding. Once the rent cleared (on the day we spoke) I told him we would have a check ready. He chose not to show up. He disputed a charge that he knowingly made and we were not going to give him money until it cleared our system. I'm not sure how an oversight by this person becomes a BBB complaint considering he was told to come pick up a check.

    Have a back door that does not lock or shut been that way since I moved in on 12/12/2022 hasty group does nothing about it also have furnace that make a loud bang when it comes on

    Hi,  We are the management company of the home at 115 Park. We do not own this home. Complaints are sent to the owner and need to be approved prior to anything being done. We are currently working with the owner to get anything resolved. Again, we do not own this home and have no rights to do anything on it without the written consent from the owner.

    I rented a property from The Hasty Group LLC (alias Hasty Reality) two years ago. On July 31st I vacated the property having paid all outstanding balances. The Hasty Group had a deposit of $1,600 for the rental property that was due back. I contacted the Hasty Group on or around August 9th I called the company requesting a status update on my refund. They provided the status update but no refund of my deposit or specific itemized list of reductions. I did not hear back from the company at all until I contacted them again on August 30th. 30 days past my move out date and again requested an update on my deposit amount being returned. According to both Kansas and Missouri state law businesses are required to return deposit amounts or an itemized list of deductions within 30 days of vacating the property. They failed to do this. I then contacted the business again on September 2nd , 2022 because I had not heard back from the company regarding my deposit amount. They replied back to my email saying that they had sent the check and itemized list of deductions by mail. On September 6th, 2022 I received an envelop post marked September 3rd, 2022 with the itemized list of deductions that stated the amount they owed me would be $1,135. The check was NOT enclosed in the envelope as the business had stated in their email on September 2nd, 2022. It is now September 7th, 8 days past the time the Hasty Group is legally required to return my deposit. The resolution I would like to see is my deposit returned to me in a timely manner.

    The tenants security deposit has been returned and was delayed due to him opting to have it electronically sent. We couldn't control when it actually hit his account. If you need any more details please let me know.
