In May of ‘23 I contacted Perez General Contractors to do some foundation work at my home. An estimate of $3750 was given. In the estimate, it was stated that they would install 3 10ft metal beams and under those beams would be concrete piers and screw heads for adjustment. He ended up knocking off $250 due to him not showing up time after time. Work was finally completed June 12 2023. I was told at the time of completion that if I saw any new cracks, get ahold of him and he would come and make some adjustments. Fast forward to Jan 2024 and I hear a thump under the house. Within the next 2 weeks, I start seeing new cracks and my front door is sticking really bad. I text him (2/5/24) and tell him what is happening and Perez doesn’t return my text. I call Perez beginning of the next week and he says yes I got your text I will be out to see what is going on. Long story short, it’s a month and a half later and continues to blow me off saying he’s coming the next day then texts to say he can’t make it. I finally give up on him and call ********** ******** ******s. They come out and assess the foundation. It’s only then do I find out Perez put in wooden beams, not metal and one of the supports isn’t even touching anything. It’s now going to cost me almost $24,000 to fix what Perez had supposedly already fixed. I would like Perez to reimburse the new cost of fixing what he didn’t. I have photos and video of Perez work under my house to corroborate what he did and didn’t do.
