In 2019 I purchased a complete heating and air conditioning system from Blue Dot. I have had them service and maintain my system, annually, since the beginning. A few years ago, my furnace developed a buzzing noise and it was brought to the technician’s attention. I was told the y office would get back to me. They did not. I brought this to the attention of the service technician the following year. I got the same answer, and was never contacted. 12/16/24, annual service was completed. The buzzing issue was addressed again. Comments from the invoice The costumer has been waiting for a sequencer to be ordered and installed his equipment is still under warranty. A tech told the costumer it was the sequencer 3 years ago. 1/10/25, Technician showed up with wrong part. From invoice Called out to replace promised warranty sequencer for the furnace that was making buzzing and clicking noise on startup. The unit had a double sequencer setup and the single sequencer would not work for the unit, as both are on the same mounting plate. Called to get correct sequencer ordered, and ETA is mid next week. Advised customer we would reach out to get on schedule to return when part is in. Heat pump system is currently operational. The following Wednesday I received a call from Blue Dot to see if I could be available that afternoon, I was not. “ *********** Deposited a new message:"Hi, this is ******. I'm calling with Blue Dot. I was just calling again to see if we could send a tech this afternoon. Please give us a call ************. Thank you." The appointment was set for the next day between noon and 5pm. No one showed up. I called on Friday and was told I was scheduled for Friday afternoon. I received a message that after noon the technician had me next. Later the technician called me to let me know he had the part on his truck, but would not be coming to my house. This just keeps going on with promises made and never fulfilled. This is very shoddy service work.

I called Blue Dot to come out and replace the inner parts of my toilet bowl. The Tech came out and replace a part, but not all of the parts, and what he did, did not stop the toilet from running. So, the water ran all night. So I called them back the next day and told them that and the Tech came back out. He replaces everything in and outside of the toilet bowl, a complete flushing kit. Then on the following Mon, I received a bill for $325. So I called them and they that was a $0 billing because the work was not completed. Then a 2nd billing came and it was $512 and they reduce to $435. So thinking this seemed rather high, I made 12 calls to 2 - Managers, and Office Manager and Customer Relations person, who said that the billing amount was correct. This issue has taken 3 + weeks to get all of this reviewed. My main complaint is that because he didn't fix the problem on the first call, unnecessary time, a lot of water was lost that I will have to pay, along with costs related to a 2nd visit by the Tech.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:nothing has been resolved.  I do not expect free service.  I am willing to pay a reasonable amount.  This would be a service call at contract price, 1 hour labor charge at contract price and cost of material.

    Sincerely,

    ******* ********

    Good afternoon,

I'm a little confused regarding this complaint.  Our records show we have not done any service for Ms. ******** since 6/22/2021 (See attached).  The services completed that day were regarding an HVAC repair, and nothing toilet related.  Can you provide us a copy with the invoice(s) you received regarding your complaint in reference to the toilet repair?

Invoices regarding this are #******  and  #******.  I have called Blue Dot 15 times on this matter.  Talked 3 times with *****, 2 with ****,  2 to *****, 2 to  **** - left word, no call back,  4 calls to Blue Dot on 6/8 - phone never answered, and 2 calls to **** - who  left it with - "this is a standard charge and there will be nleo invoice adjustment".
I am ready to pay a reasonable amount.   Had ***** done what I originally asked for, there would be no 2nd service call.

Thank you for providing the invoice numbers, that made it much easier to research!

After reviewing both invoices, (please see attached), there was no charge on the initial invoice ****** (not even our mandatory $89 dispatch service fee).

The only charges were on the second invoice  ****** totalling $435.00  Essentially the first call was free, and this is all we are asking to collect.

I could totally understand the frustration, and would be more than willing to refund any charges occured on the first call since the tech did not provide you with satisfactory work the first time around.  Considering there was no charge for that initial call (not even the $89 service fee which we actually waived on both calls).  The $435 is a very fair price for the 2-hours worth of work, parts provided, and warranty given on the work completed.  Please let us know if you still disagree, and what you feel a "reasonable price" would be.  Thank you for being a loyal customer of ours, I hope this helps clarify exactly what we are charging you for.

I called Blue Dot on 2-10-23 since my ***** heater was not providing heat. The technician came out and spent about 2 hours trying to figure out what was wrong. He seemed to concentrate on the electric circuit board being bad. He did things like cut a drain pipe that he thought might be flooding the pilot light. He got the system to work but told me that it would probably quit again. He seemed to be very unsure about what was actually wrong so he showed me how to turn the system off and back on. The days between the 10th and the 14th, when I called Blue Dot to tell them the heater was not working were fairly warm and around 50 degrees so I did not notice the heater not working until 2 am on the 14th of February. I called Blue Dot and they said the technician was in the office right them and that they were going to do an estimate for replacing the circuit board and they could do the work that afternoon. The estimate was $******. They told me they could get financing for me and I gave them my information but asked them to wait on get approval until I called them back because I felt I might be able to get the money somewhere else. I asked a friend to refer me to another company to get a second opinion and that was when I called **********. *********** said to replace the circuit board it would be $***. ********** came to my home on 2-14-23 to see if the board was necessary. 20 minutes after the ******** technician arrived he fixed the heater and no parts were necessary. I am attaching the Blue Dot invoice where nothing was accomplished and the invoice for ********** repair. These explain what the techniciams did. Blue Dot has refused to refund my $*** paid on 2/10/23 as well as one half of my payment made for 2 visits a year. They came out in December and say to there is another appointment set for 6/22/23. Blue Dod is not welcome in my home. The total they owe me is $***. Nate a seervice manager basically lied when he talked to me about this situation.

2-10-23 Service tech arrived on site to find the furnace not working and in lock out mode do to retries. Tech reset furnace to see if he could get it to fail and found unit shutting off on pressure switch problem. He inspected everything and found flue piping had developed a belly holding water causing pressure switch to fail. He then made repair to flue pipe to prevent this from happing again and then fired furnace up several times and letting it run for awhile and couldn't get the furnace to fail again. He made a recommendation that if it fails again it could be a board or pressure switch problem but not sure until it quits. The furnace then ran for 4 days until it failed on the 14th when she called and asked how much it would be to repair it. We then quoted her a price of what it could be if parts were needed that we suggested but not sure until we find out what is wrong. She then called another company for a second opinion who was able to fix it due to the fact that the problem was permanent at that time.
We correctly charged for the time that was spent there on the 2-10-23 and are not able to refund this because we were not given the opportunity to go back and find the problem. Instead, she called another company. We are willing to refund the $** for the Blue agreement, but can not refund $*** for initial visit that was for minor repairs needed and labor to get furnace to run at that time.
