    The owner plumbed my new house. Ten years later I had flooding from plumbing connected to an exterior faucet that cost over $30,000 + to restore the basement. AMI came out and said they repaired the plumbing. One year later the same leak area flooded the basement again, not to the extent as before as I noticed the flooding 20 min after the faucet was turned off. I notified AMI and have left 2 additional phone messages and they refused to return my call. I’ll have another bill from the water restoration company and I’m sure it will be in the thousands of dollars. Just earlier in the day I had called AMI about a new window heat/air unit they installed a few months ago. It wouldn’t even turn on. He did respond saying he’d be out same day or next business day. I need help and warranty information and he didn’t show up or respond. So far, AMI’s negligence has personally cost me $7,300 plus a bill I have yet to receive from water restoration. I have always paid every bill and earlier than when do. I am a retired, 74-yr-old woman trying to take care of these things and this plumber could care less about my losses. My attorney is having me gather more information with pictures but it will likely be too expensive to sue. I want AMI to pay for the water restoration costs and take care of the warranty on the heat/air unit because I looked up the warranty on these Gree units and it is warranted for 2 years. I will send a letter to Gree or call to tell them what AMI has done, refusing to address the warranty.
