    My husband ***** **** has been working on my Christmas gift all year of 2023 by working on an 1970El Camino, the payment for this after completed was agreed to be a 73 Volkswagen Car in its original form, with factory motor. This is my dream car and I've been talking about this car forever. This car wasn't touched after putting it in garage since 1980. The cars motor needs gone through professionally. My husband don't work on foreign motors and he decided to do it right and find a motor shop. We looked and find that there are few VW shops in our area. Found one in OKC and never got anyone to respond to us aftera week of emails and calls. ***** found Scooters Volkswagen repairs. They made an agreement of 1200 total cash with half down and also a VW Van motor to be given with transaction.. they agreed to end of the month after dropping it of on 1-6-2024 at his Wichita business. After the end of month he told husband that there was people in front of him and he spent our deposit money on his bills. He said end of February. At end of February it still hasn't be touched and he said he need parts for it and it he still soaking engine. By the end of March, I have already tagged title and insurance this car and no motor. I said ***** please just pick my motor up and we can take it somewhere else. He gets ahold of **** *******- business owner of Scooter's VW repairs- **** tells him that he hopes we know the identification number to the engine block and he will get it done when he has time. The man is rude to us and all we wanted was a legitimate business to do this motor so that my husband didn't have to. Please help

    I hereby request a 14 to 21 day extension regarding the claims made in the consumer protection action that was initiated by a customer of mine. I have considerable time and investment in parts and labor at this point and wish to provide extensive documentation and reports establishing my position as no wrongdoing done. I'm amenable to settling this issue with the customer that is complaining but he must be reasonable regarding actual costs for parts and labor and or refurbishment of old parts, please extend my willingness to settle this issue without delay so that both the customer is satisfied and that my reputation is not damaged by claims bordering on vexatious.
