Upon the signing of my life away really the financing person had said that my specific loan requirements had went under some sort of review and that in the next week they would know for sure if the car would be mine. So I took off with the car that day and was told “ We’ll let you know when we get everything confirmed, at the worst you drive around a new car for a week and take it back if things change”. Anyway something I had asked about was if it would be okay if I could leave some of my belongings in the trade in for the meantime since I didn’t know if the car was mine just yet. I was assured by the sales person Austin, his sales manager, and the finance guy that it wouldn’t be a problem and everything would be in my trade in when I came to get them. The day I went down and got confirmation that the car was mine I asked about the things in my car. What do you know, nothing and I mean nothing was in the car anymore. Just like that was my belongings were gone, over $500 of my personal possessions just disappeared and no one had anything to say about it. They didn’t know that things had even gone missing. The only thing I had managed to get back was my mothers necklace and boxing gloves. Those boxing gloves were given to me after I was asking about the items in the car to one of the detailers standing outside of my car they had just cleaned out. The detailer walks to his car and grabs my gloves out of his locked truck and gives them back with the statement “I was keeping them safe”. Laughable behavior, actually caught one of the Eddys staff members stealing from me. They sure as heck didn’t hold onto my longboard, tent, floor jack, toolbox, cleaning supplies for safety reasons because those are gone forever with nothing to be said for them or how they went missing. I was promised 12 free tanks of gas by an Ashley VIA card through the mail. That has not came. Eddys Toyota stole from me literally and haven’t compensated me for the experience at all.Eddy's Toyota of Wichita

We mailed the gas card that was promised to the customer in the middle of June 2024. This is the first we are hearing about the customer not receiving the gas card. Had the customer reached back out to Ashley and informed her then she would have sent another one to the customer. We are not sure if it was lost in the mail or if we do not have the right address on file. Since the reviews, Ashley has tried multiple times to contact the customer to verify his address so that she can get the new gas card mailed to the customer. She called and text him multiple times with no response. We would like to verify the address before sending it out to the customer as we do not know exactly what happened with the other one that was mailed and there is no tracking number, and it was not delivered back to the dealership. If the customer would like to receive the gas card, then he needs to contact Ashley at 316-425-4111.Review fromSang P

Eddys Toyota sold me a car one day kept it several days after for 160 point inspection. I brought it back in to get oil leak fixed and sat there for hours. Took it to an independent shop. They showed me the leak is still fresh. Also the car has silt stuck underneath and in wheel wells that doesn’t come off in car wash station. I took it in on 4-18-24 annd they were going to charge me just to look at the car. I added First Mile and a maintenance package to my contract bringing total cost of a 2017 vehicle to nearly $18K. I feel this dealership is the worst I’ve ever dealt with on so many levels.Eddy's Toyota of Wichita

I went to look at an advertised blue tacoma. I was told it couldn't be sold because it had body damage. The salesman would not show it to me. but they have a blue one with four wheel drive and much more expensive. sound like bait and switch?Eddy's Toyota of Wichita

Dealership's last noted interaction with this customer was Dec 2023, when he sold his blue Tacoma to us. We have one brand new blue Tacoma that was sold and arrived to dealership 4/13. Dealership has no other blue Tacomas on the lot or on any of our websites.Review fromMichael E

I was traveling to Denver 1st week of June 2023 and transmission started slipping in my 2015 Toyota Tacoma . Scheduled appointment and brought truck to Eddy's service center at dealership .Explained to service rep what was suspected problem. ask for diagnostics to be run and problem fixed . 2o minutes later he appeared with list of suggested repair services all of which were standard mileage outlines by Toyota none of which were needed at that tiem truck had less than 116,000 miles on it . Told service rep just run diagnostics on transmission and fix the problem. 45 minutes later they brought truck up supposedly fixed . Best I could tell truck had only been washed but i was assured problem fixed . the initial suggested list of maintainance was over $1100.00 . Not needed not requested . The actual billing for the service was over $350 . I paid and moved on for my business in Denver . About 20 miles west of the dealership truck transmission started same slippage problem again . I completed my denver business and returned to my Denver home . next day scheduled my normal auto repair center to run diagnostics on the truck . Owner of repair center called me 1 hr later said they discovered transmission fluid 3 qts low that was the only problem . they fixed it for $101 with diagnostics test . No problems since . I have made over 4 direct phone calls to dealership requesting return call concerning improper service on truck and multiple email attempts with zero responses . This is the only time in owning Toyota's over 20 years and dealing with Toyota dealerships that something like this has happened . What's worse the failure to respond on any level suggest that the dealership is aware of performance failures in service and management . I would not even rate with 1 star . Criminal if my opinion matters . Overcharged , service problem neglected , total false representation of Toyota reputation . I will be contacting Toyota headquartersEddy's Toyota of Wichita

Eddy's Toyota of Wichita knowingly sold me a 2020 Yukon with a salvage title on it. They didn't disclose the title issue until 2 weeks after I purchased the vehicle when they started doing title the work; putting me and my family at serious physically and financially risk during this period. They did this to a previous customer with the same vehicle. Then, they tried to rush me to sign an agreement they would honor it as a "clear title" when I traded it in the future exclusively to them. Essentially cornering me into only doing business with them.
They committed dealership fraud and it's clear they make this a routine business practice.
I returned the 2020 Yukon I purchased and got my car back, but not before they tried to force me to pay $1000 in the reconditioning expense on the trade in. I held my ground and still got my trade in back without paying.

Eddy's did not sell Mr. ******* a vehicle knowingly having a branded title. In fact the vehicle had a clean title and ****** when it came to us. After we sold the unit to Mr. *******, our title department was getting his title ready. They ran an inquiry on the title as it was an out of state title and it came back as a branded title. We found the issue. We called Mr. ******* and let him know about his title situation and he was very nice and we talked about helping him if he wanted stay in his vehicle. We offered to put it in writing that if he came back to trade with us that we would not let the branded title affect his value if he came back to us. Mr. ******* did not have an issue with this idea and asked us to send the form over to him signed. We did. The next day, Mr. ******* called very angry stating that he talked to someone outside our company and we do this kind of thing all the time and use the same vehicle. Simply untrue Mr. ******* demanded his trade back and his deal be backed out. We agreed and paid off his loan and backed everything out. His trade was reconditioned by us. We put 4 new tires on, alignment, and oil change. This added up to 1056.00. Mr. ******* asked to get out of the deal and received his trade-in back in better shape than was traded in. Asking Mr. ******* for the reconditioning cost was not out of line. Mr. ******* refused to pay the bill and we gave him back his trade and no bill to him. We did everything we could to show Mr. ******* we were doing the right thing. Unfortunately he feels differently.Review fromNong S

I had a bad experience with Brad. He makes you feel bad if you don't buy additional packages. He made up a story about how his Tundra needed a motor replaced for the car seat and it was going to cost him $1,800 to fix. Brad told me the additional packages he purchased saved him $1,800. I declinced the additional packages. Brad, immediately was salty. He kept asking where the money came from. As far as I'm concerned, the money came from the bank in a form of a check. Brad also said "I hope you like the car when it's more expensive." He said this because I declined his packages. He definitely ruined the car buying experience. The dealership should consider making changes. *********************** Second, listen to their customers. For example, the sales person sells me a car for $30,000 out the door. I will pay $30,000 out the door. I don't want to see or talk to Brad. I definitely don't want to go in his ******** office. I have purchased vehicles before Brad worked there. I know what it's like to purchase a vehicle. I want everyone to know my experience at Eddy's. Most likely there won't be any changes. We can only hope for the best.Eddy's Toyota of Wichita

Forced into buying a vehicle that I didn't want more like ********** salesman saying original vehicle I came to purchase was sold along with 2 other cars similar. Was told they were all bought at the time I was coming in to buy one of them. I told salesman many times I didn't want the **** but after being there 4 hours and needing a vehicle my step dad said to get it so we could go home. Only to find out less than 24 hours later the Malibu wasn't sold so I was played out of what I wanted. I literally hate this ****. And they can't do anything about it.
