They promised a high quality and a professional resolut to our bathroom remodel. Once started, they were unable to locate any matching siding for the outside if they were to remove the window. We agree to have them plaster over the window to where all we would have to do is paint. Not so. They left it with slharp cut outs ogmf new shower walls and our existing tiles. When I finally received the monthly bill, they did not knock anything off. Our shower ceiling has a brown line encircling it. Even the sales lady came back and said that it was not complete and did not look professional. We want the job finished. No ifs ands nor buts about it. I want a discount in my monthly payments as well, as this was promised to us. Thank you!Business Response

Signed a contact for a small repair, told multiple times that they would repair it then paint it, then after the repair was done they changed the terms and now say painting is not included. And even worse the price was a complete rip off, I had 5 pieces of wood replaced on my roof, all less than 2 ft long it was $**** $**** for 5 small prices of wood AND NOW THEY ARE EVEN REFUSING TO PAINT IT EVEN THOUGH THAT WAS PART OF THE AGREEMENT Complete **** ** a company Take your business literally anywhere elseBusiness Response

Derrick I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I have reviewed our agreement and I feel we have made it very clear that there is no painting included in our estimate. The following are exact line items of our agreement that you have signed on March 9th 2023. LINE #1 "This will be a partial job. We will be replacing 2 pieces of soffit on the left elevation, and 3 birdboxes. We will be replacing with wood to match as closely as possible to existing. This will be unpainted and painting is to be done by others. No material warranty will be provided since this is a wood based." LINE #4 "No painting or staining has been figured other than what is stated in this agreement" This is a small repair and like many companies there are minimum charges to complete a job like this. We provided you an estimate for the repair prior to us completing the work and you were fully aware of the cost and exactly what we were going to do. If you would like to discuss any of these matters further please feel free to contact me at our office at *** ******** Thank you Cris ******Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
The verbal agreement included painting, which included discussion about timing and that the repair team wouldn't do the painting that would be another team that came later. And that I should keep up the signage up until both parts were done.
As for the "partial repair", it was a partial repair, I rejected the repair for the part of the roof that may or may not be leaking until we could double check where the damage was coming from.If you make verbal agreements that painting would be done and slip in fine print during contract signing of the opposite. (*If it's even in there) That is scam like behavior!
*Honestly I should have seen the red flags the instant I didn't get a copy of the contract on signing. You can now claim anything is in there and I can't prove you wrong. That should have been the first sign that I was getting scammed.
Sincerely,
Derrick ***Business Response

Derrick, I would be happy to send you a copy of our agreement again if you would like. The mentioning of painting wasn't fine print. It was printed in the same size font and print as the rest of the agreement. I know we go over these agreements line by line explaining what we are doing and what we aren't doing. It is stated more than once that the painting isn't included. I'm sorry for any misunderstanding but we didn't charge you for any painting to be done. Please feel free to contact me at our office if you would like to discuss any further.Customer Answer

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:The problem is that this is the oldest contract scam in the book,
you promise the moon,
charge moon prices,
get the contract signed quick,
hide the contract so they don't realize the mistake until it's locked in,
hand the poor fool that signed the contract a moon keychain,
when they complain, point out that the contract they signed said keychain, not the actual moon...
And deny deny deny all the way to the bank
The issue here again is not the contract (though refusing to give a copy of the contract on signing is a common contract scamming tactic).
Its what was promised and discussed BEFORE the contract was signed, to then rug pull and run away with the money
What's worse is that I should have seen the scam, but you caught me right before a product release and was so burnt out I only had 2 braincells to see the rug pull in the contract. Enough brain power to distinctly remember discussing that it would be painted, and that the work would be done is phases, not enough to read legalize and hidden terms while distracted by an attempted upsell to repair that entire section of the roof and forcing my focus where you wanted me to look and not over the whole contract.
A contract scam is still a scam, so I will stand by my complaint
Sincerely,
Derrick ***Business Response

I have explained our position and I have sent him a copy of the agreement he has signed. It clearly states no painting has been figured. We don't offer painting on this type of repair EVER. So I know we never would have offered this. I can send you a copy of our agreement if you would like. I don't think there will be any final resolve to this issue on his part. We haven't done anything wrong in this situation. I have completed over 20,000 projects over 30 years and I have never had anyone claim we were setting them up or scamming them. That is not us.Initial Complaint

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2023/01/07) */ I have spoke with my entire team that was involved in this project. Most of them have been with my company for more than 5 years. They don't have the same account on what went on during the project. To our knowledge everything went great. They don't have any knowledge of any discussions like this. If there are issues that we need to resolve regarding the installation I would be more than happy to discuss with the homeowner.
