She was so rude and insensitive while I was visibly upset and trying to not cry in front of my children that it has really turned me off from feeling positively about her at all. I don't feel confident that she did everything possible to help our situation; she barely spent 15 minutes with us and still charged $170. She didn't explain anything, just pushed papers at us to sign. After looking over the tax paperwork, we noticed she had made some big mistakes. We called and left her a message, but she never responded. So I had my Mother look over our taxes and reach out to go over the mistakes with her and she was extremely rude and unprofessional and hung up on my Mother when she was confronted with her errors. She insisted that she would do the amendment without even consulting us about that and honestly I don't trust her to do it correctly. Now I'm thinking when she did the amendment for our audit a few years ago she probably messed that up also because we never even heard back from the IRS about that or received back any of the money that was taken from us. I finally got ahold of her and she said she amended our taxes and I informed her that I didn't want her to do it and asked for a refund of my $170. She refused, saying she is human and allowed to make mistakes. This infuriated me, because she YELLED at me in front of my kids and made me cry when I said I didn't understand why we owed this year and she bellowed that we filled our W-4's out wrong. So everyone else has to pay for mistakes but her? You don't get to make mistakes with other people's finances and then just brush it off and not own it. She estimated our AIG and she didn't look for anything we could write off, like car registration fees or donations. She went against everything we were advised to do this year.
