They deconstructed and reconstruction on my bathroom. The owner of this **** owns half of another company Precision Property Development. He told me to write a check for over 5,000 to them and to PPD the rest. But Advanta sent the full 40,000 to my ins bc I signed a contract with them. They jacked up my bathroom with holes in brand new wall. The used the wrong chalking and didn't seal the walls right. My shower leaks now and I have mold again coming in the bathroom. Advanta is all about cleaning mold so it shouldn't had come back after they finished the job in Nov. Back then I asked them to redo it and they refused. But in Feb the mold started showing. They said they would redo the bathroom. A month and half later they still give me excuses they will never fix it. So all I'm asking either they fix it now or refund me about 10,000 to get the bathroom redone. My insurance company won't help me said that I have to do it myself. All they do is give me the money. But now I will have water damage again bc of them bc its not done right or sealed. They messed up on other stuff in the house but my husband said he will fix it. I have a video to show all the damages but all I'm asking is for the shower to be remodel and sealed right where water doesn't leak.

We did the mitigation. Another company did the reconstruction. We went back and fixed the reconstruction company’s errors and the customer is now completely satisfied and has even referred us business. They are welcome to call and confirm this with her.

Also, we no longer use this construction company as a sub and keep everything in house.

After experiencing water damage to my home on 1/21/23, I needed to quickly get things repaired. I, however, was taken advantage of by this company on 1/27/23. They quickly came and tore everything down, sprayed for mold, and left 2 whole house dehumidifiers. I had to learn from my insurance company claim rep after they examined the bill that I was severely overcharged. The insurance claim rep and I had to remeasure the area where the damage took place and we got the same measurements, but this company had a completely different measurement. The measurement of the area is what the amount being charged was based upon. There were several other charges that had to be recalculated because I was either overcharged or charged for services NOT rendered. I also found out from my insurance company rep that the dehumidifiers they left were supposed to be monitored to make sure water was accumulating. No one came to monitor the dehumidifiers. I was not given an option to have the dehumidifiers monitored. I also learned only 1 dehumidifier was needed for the entire room. Having 2 young children especially one with asthma is not to be in a very DRY climate. These dehumidifiers were left for 10 days before I had to contact the company to pick them up with NO water that had accumulated in either machine. Per the estimate I was only supposed to have these dehumidifiers for 5 days. My 2 kids both were sick during this period. Basically, those machines dried out my entire home. I almost paid $1000+ more than what I needed to pay if it had not been for someone else checking their work. The cost of the repair for the damage and the removal of the damage was more than the money received from the insurance company. I had to pay for the repair of the damage first because the drywall removal left the walls exposed with nails sticking out that my 2 kids could have punctured themselves on. I had to work out payments with this company for the removal. The cost of repair was less.

The attachments sent were a series of conversations with ***** ******** *one where she said she was completely satisfied with our work and said she would leave us a performance review online and the other where she wasn’t meeting her payment obligations after she received the insurance funds. Not only does she hire contractors and not pay which is how we feed our families but then she disparages the company to the BBB which can considerably hurt a business’s credibility and tarnish a family’s image. We are a family owned company who thrives off of customer service and performance. We have hundreds of reviews online with a 4.9 star rating on Facebook and Google. The fact that she would claim negligence from us when she is the one who won’t pay and has blocked us from trying to collect payment is not only appalling but also absurd. I appreciate your help and time looking into this matter. ***** will be hearing from our attorney moving forward regarding collecting payment.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: Upon my review of the experience and documentation I was asked to write a review after the first day of the job where the employees came in to remove the water damage. I did not write a review at the time requested. I was asked again to write a review after the second day of the job where the 2 dehumidifiers were left. I did not write a review at the time requested because the job was not completed. I wonder how many customers wrote reviews after the first day after the job was done because they were pressured? Upon my documentation I attempted to set up payments on March 9th and June 13th, 2023. I found out after attempting to set up payments on March 9th I was overcharged for the amount due. I was about to make payments after being overcharged. After going through my insurance adjuster and your manager they got the bill corrected. I attempted to set up payments on June 13th. I did not get a response from Advantaclean until July 6th, which by that time I filed this claim. I understand being a family business, but to overcharge a customer drastically is bad business. Don't take advantage of consumers just because they are going through a crisis. It will not be tolerated. I wrote my review after going through my experience.
