On April 1, Mickey came to residence for estimate and answered questions about repairs. A deposit of $750 was paid on April 8. Materials were dropped of to be stored at residence and collected additional $850 deposit on 4/19. Contract stated work would be done in 3 days. Due to various delays, work did not begin until 4/22. On this date, was informed a portion of agreed upon services could not be performed. Mickey kept spare key to hardware installed giving access to home as needed. Work delayed again until 4/25. Was informed job would be completed, but was not. Mickey worked on house on 4/26 and did insert a few screws into interior banister (although damaged original, historic, woodwork) and to a few loose boards on deck. This was not on the original estimate but I did state that I did not mind to pay for the services. Paid with a check for $1200. Was told job would be finished the following M or T. I did not hear from Mickey either day and on May 1, Mickey came to and entered residence to pick up his equipment I agreed to store in my basement. Job was still not complete. I had to contact in distress on Saturday, May 4th because gutter was not attached and water was splashing onto covered porch and running into basement. Mickey came and attached gutter. I was very upset at the state of affairs and requested that they key be returned. He apologized, agreeing that it was unacceptable. I have reached out a couple of times since to inquire with no response. As of today, job is not complete, garbage and debris are still blocking walkway on premises, deadline is extremely overdue. I overpaid for materials and work not performed. Aside from this, I had to make multiple arrangements for myself &house to be available throughout several weeks. I would like all work on estimate to be completed satisfactorily in a timely manner or for a refund of amount paid minus the cost of materials (receipts required). I have before/after pictures as well as recording of convos

Started this to help her as she stated she was selling the house. I gave her an estimate and we agreed on terms and conditions.

Yes I admit my timing there was not the best but I'm dealing with outside elements in ky. And I did have a situation with one of my children.

So through the job she had asked me to do a few things that where not listed or even discussed until after the job started. The banister needed tighten up so hand rail didn't move as much and to secure loose deck boards on her back deck. Towards the end I had to finish touch up paint on a couple windows and on the gable of her home, and finish the soffit and soffit trim.

On Saturday  it was raining and her down spout was not connected so she sent me a video of the water running down the exterior of her house. I rushed over to complete the work and to attach the down spout to wher I was greeted with I. Revording this conversation. In which I amended. Then she stated she wanted me to gather my things and get off her property. There was a conversation she has recorded I can't remember everything that was said but I was trying to get her to let me finish in which it was a no go. So I gathered my things and left. I don't like to leave things unfinished and as you can read in the tex mess I told her to just calm down and let me know a day that I can come out and finish the work so I can be paid and your stuff will be complete in which she replied. Let me see who I haven't ticked off yet so I can borrow some monet to pay you. Then stated there's no point in repairing a house that's being foclised on.

This seems to me a bit funny .I have talked to counsel, and they have told me what I need to do. Me finishing this job would not be in my best interest. There is still a ballece of 400 dollars bur also work that is not completed. But once I'm told to leave the property I do not return.

It don't make sense why you are repairing a house that is being foreclosed on. If they would have told me this from the beginning I would have never given an estimate.

All text mess I have shown are from Her and I. Mine are the blue bubbles.
