The farm canceled our stay at one of their locations because of their bankruptcy. They told us that we would receive our deposit back on a monthly payment plan and currently we are still outstanding on the payments from August and September… The plan was made so that we would get paid out on the 5th. This happened in April of 2024, 6 months before I was supposed to use one of their venue/lodging locations for my wedding.

Paid nearly 2,000 deposit for my WEDDING VENUE and they cancelled less than 2 months out. Now I can only get my money back over the span of 2 years.

In July of 2023 we reserved a property at 1400 Willis Branch Rd, Richmond KY 40475 from The Farm LLC for a large family reunion. The rental was to occur on July 26 through August 2 2024. We paid the total rental of $11,000 up front in order to get a discount. At 9pm on July 25th, the night before our entire family was to arrive, we were informed that the reservation was cancelled. We were told to provide our bank account information and we would be refunded over 24 months. As most of the family was already on the way and we assumed it was a mistake, we went to the property only to find another family in it who had also rented from The Farm LLC. The company no longer responds to texts, phone calls, or emails and we have not received any refund.

We booked a rental property through Mr Martin/The Farm, LLC directly through The Farm, LLC's website. This was a 3 night reservation on Labor Day weekend 2024 for $3,520.84. We paid the full amount up front. We received an email yesterday (7/26/24) informing us that the property we booked was "no longer in their portfolio" and that the company had filed for bankruptcy. Our only recourse was to give them our bank information, and they said they could pay us back over the course of 24 months. I'm not willing to give this company my bank information, nor should we have to wait 2 years to receive full reimbursement. Meanwhile, the property that we booked (The Farm's Luxury Getaway on the Potomac) is still listed on the Airbnb app. We have tried to call but they have a voicemail stating the only way to contact them is through email via [email protected]. We hope the BBB is able to help in this matter, we understand several others have had similar issues with this company.

The Farm, LLC claimed to provide a luxury estate property, of which I paid almost $6k for 4 night stay in Lexington, KY in May 2024. Once arriving at the property, we realized that this was in no way a luxury estate. The photos are not up to date and there were many items that were safety issues. My 81 year old father in law tripped over the flooring and my 9 year old niece couldn't get out of the bathroom because the door handle fell off. I contacted the property manager after the stay and was offered a $3500 credit to use the company again. I asked for a refund instead, but never heard back. I just emailed again and the email bounced back. I search BBB and found out that this and worse has happened to others and that they have filed for bankruptcy. I feel like this is a scam company and should be held responsible.

We rented a property for a wedding in October. We payed a down payment on March 24, 2024 in the amount of $1,958.32. The company apparently had filed bankruptcy in January, 2024. We traveled from Texas to Arkansas to tour the property in April. There was no mention of possible closure of the property and they allowed us to plan the wedding there. We received an email stating our reservation was cancelled and we would be receiving a full refund. This refund has not been received. We contacted our bank and they can't do anything about this to help us get our money back. ******** **** said to work with the BBB. ******* ****** ********** ***** ******* ** *****: **** * ******* Case #: ************* Case Filed: *** *** ****

In September of 2023, we attended a fundraiser for the ***** ****** ***** in Ohio. Part of the evening was a silent auction. The Farm LLC donated a two night stay and ******* **** distillery tour/tasting; to be redeemed by the end of October, 2024. We won that auction. I have made several attempts to redeem this auction win; email (as requested in the instructions), phone call and text. No one is responding to my request to book our travel dates. We would like The Farm LLC to make good on their auction contribution and book our two night stay in Kentucky.

This outfit apparently has the notorious reputation of stiffing people by canceling vacation homes weeks before they are supposed to arrive, including my family of 28!!! Hopefully the credit card company will see what a s**t hole company this is and get our money back..

I booked a property in MD in March of 2024 for a week stay in July of 2024. In May I tried emailing the company to confirm what furniture is in the house and what kind of pots/pans/utensils etc were in the house. I emailed them 3 times over 3 straight days and didn't receive a response. So I googled the company to see if it was a legit company and not a scam. Saw the article that they filed bankruptcy in January of 2024. I noticed a different email address in the article and sent an email asking about my reservation. They responded back in an hour that my reservation was cancelled and that I could be a claimant in the bankruptcy. I finally got a hold of someone by phone and they informed me that because I booked after they filed, I was entitled to a full refund. She said to email a certain address, which I did, 4 times, yet still haven't received a response. How they were able to still offer rental properties 2 months AFTER they filed bankruptcy is beyond me. Since then I still haven't heard back from anyone, phone calls or emails, about my refund.

I booked an ****** at their Decatur, AR location for 2/7/2025 - 2/10/25 and it has been hell ever since. They were very responsive before getting my money but every time I’ve had a question after the place was booked, I would wait weeks and sometimes not get a response at all unless I pushed and pushed. A week or 2 ago, a bad tornado tore through that part of Arkansas so I contacted them to make sure everything was alright - this is the place I’m getting married at after all. It’s been a week and guess what - still no response, even after calling, following up with 2 people and leaving emails. Fast forward to today and they cancelled my booking with no explanation and without answering my other emails. Plus, they’re saying they’re only going to give me 50% of my money back even though I wasn’t the one responsible for cancelling. This is the WORST experience I’ve ever had in my life. I just want a full refund and to be rid of them forever.
