      Approximately 2 1/2 weeks ago, I made an appointment for 1/4/2024. I tried to explain what I needed to the office representative and she kept rudely talking over me. Everytime, I opened my mouth she began talking over me! She corrected my pronunciation on a medical word and then asked me to pay in $75.00 in advance or she could not schedule my appointment. I told her that I was not prepared to pay in advance, and I would call her back in the morning when I had my Care Credit credit card on me. She said she would "hold" the appointment "until morning" after I had to ask her to do so. I did not like giving my account number over the phone, but I did so the next morning. Two days later, this office called me and I missed the call. I called back within 5 minutes, and I was told that they never called me! Baloney. Yesterday, 12/27, this office called me and left a message implying they were to cancel my appointment if I did not pay the $75! I called the office and told the lady I paid $75 two-weeks ago and she claimed that they did not call about the $75, but because they could not take Care Credit unless I was spending $500! I asked her why they just left me a message asking for $75 that I had already paid to them to which she claimed she did not know. (I had two messages from this office yesterday). Then, the lady that I was currently talking to stated they would "Refund my $75". I hung up irritated and called Care Credit only to find out that they billed two $30 payments over several days for $60 and not even the $75! I called Dr. H********** office back and told a different lady all of this and how bad the experience was and she did not care. She began to rudely talk all over me. (It may be the same woman from two-weeks ago that talked all over me, I did not keep their names, so I cannot be sure. I was so mad by this time I hung up on her. Regardless, this crap should not have happened. These secretaries or representatives are uppity and rude. I want my $60 back.

      Patient was refunded $30.00 to his **** ****** account.

      A second payment was posted in error of $30.00 (probably posting in error not seeing the first error made). This second payment was also refunded to the patients **** ****** Card.  No refund is applicable to the patient, only to the form of payment-**** ****** card. Conversation was given to the patient to describe what happened with our error but he became agitated and hung up the phone call.
