The owner is a thief. He has blocked me and has been holding my tractor for ransom for a year. He claimed he had the parts, took it, took my money for the parts, then said he couldn’t get the parts (he already claimed he had and charged me $1700 for) and couldn’t fix it. He claimed I still had to pay for the parts he got because they’re non returnable plus I owed him ‘several thousand dollars’ in research and travel that I never agreed to. I have never received an actual labor bill, just the 1722.00 parts bill I paid. The credit card company did an investigation and found he had no proof of any parts purchased or any repairs completed and that he had misled both myself and the credit card company during their investigation. He then offered to bring the tractor back and didn’t, adding an undisclosed storage fee and demanding ‘several thousand dollars’ for the tractor he couldn’t fix. I have no idea how much he was demanding because I never got a bill after multiple requests. I hired Brown’s to weld a plate back on my tractor axle. He had a welder on his truck. After no showing several times he asked if he could take it to his shop for his convenience. He said he had already got the parts to fix it so I allowed him to take it. A couple months later he billed me 1722.00 for the parts he billed as ‘tractor front end parts’ and couldn’t provide a parts list. I paid it because he had my tractor and said it would be done and home the following week. A month later he tells me he couldn’t get the parts. The parts he claimed he already had before taking it, then claimed he had again and billed me for. He said he couldn’t fix it and it wasn’t his fault the parts weren’t available and that he would bring it back that following week. He didn’t. Another month goes by and I contact my credit card company to open a fraud investigation which they did and found the charges to be fraudulent due to the fact he had no record of any parts purchased or any repairs completed.

I had a terrible experience with Brown's Field Service regarding my **** ***** repair. Earlier this year, I dropped off the machine to have a refurbished engine installed and paid $10,000 upfront for a new engine block. I was originally quoted a one-week turnaround time, but six months later, the machine was still unrepaired. *********** informed me that no repairs had been made—the original engine, identified by its serial number, had simply been spray-painted to look like it had been replaced. I eventually got my unusable machine back in late August, not from Brown's, but from ***********. I strongly advise against trusting this company with any repairs. I am now out $10,000, and my **** ***** remains non-functional.
