            Kentucky Power allowed someone to setup electric services in my name without my consent on December 07, 2023. I discovered this through credit karma showing a past due balance of $877.00. When calling Kentucky Power they are not willing to be help assist in this matter. My social they are saying isn’t attached to the account, nothing makes sense. I did not authorize Kentucky Power to put services in my name. I spoke with them today and they said it was sold to a collection agency, they would not provide me with any contact number’s for me to call and get this resolved.

            They are holding my deposit. I have paid over 12 months on time, and when I ask when my 175 deposit will be released, I am told different stories every time. Now being told that they will hold for 18 months, and if I pay late at 15 months, my 12 month on time restarts. This is unreasonable, and the company needs to improve on training, seeing as how I have been told my deposit will be credited on next month bill. The chat representatives are rude at best. Very poor business standards.
