In early 2022, KHEAA offered a loan rehab program on my two accounts in exchange for removing the negative information from my credit report. I asked if I paid the accounts in full at once, could I also have the negative information removed and was told yes. I chose to pay the accounts in full which has been confirmed by KHEAA. I’m asking you to please stick to your end of the deal and remove these accounts or at minimum remove the negative information. In a very difficult time, I stuck to my end of the bargain and communicated every step of the way. The original representative who helped me with this was very helpful and nice. I’m simply asking you to do what you said you would. This is completely unacceptable and bad business practice.

    Dear Ms. *****,

Our Quality Control Team has pulled and listened to calls regarding your loan back to March 2, 2022 and have found that you were not advised the negative information would be removed if you paid your loan in full at once.  You were offered the rehab program and it was explained that one of the benefits of that program was the removal of the negative information.  Since you were not provided erroneous information, we cannot remove the negative information.

If you should have additional questions, I can be contacted at ************.

    Sincerely,

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I completely disagree and feel I was led to believe otherwise. I paid the accounts in full vs a rehab program and I inquired about that and was made to believe it would result in the same action. I will continue to pursue this.

    Sincerely,
