I started the SRNA program on May 28th 2023. I paid for the tuition in full. I was required to have a 2 step TB skin and proof of a Covid 19 vaccination. In order to complete the program, I had already had the TB skin test done and turned it in, but the school told me that because the test was done over 6 months ago, I needed to have it done again, I went back to the local clinic and got the test done a second time, I took this second "2 step TB skin test" and took pictures of it and sent the pictures to the teacher. I sent this teacher a picture of the TB skin test that I had completed on May 30th 2023. She received the email on MAY 30th 2023 with the picture and said that she couldn't see it very well. So I used a much better camera and sent it to her. I then proceeded to study and complete all of the textbook along with complete the exams. I then later emailed to have my lab skills days scheduled. I completed my 2 lab days and my CPR training and was told I would receive a CPR certification email and could print out the certificate. I waited for the email it still has not arrived to this day. After the lab skills days, the following weekend was set to be my clinical days. I was looking forward to taking part in them. The same teacher that had received my email with the picture of my TB skin test, sent me a email 2 days before my deadline. She had 2 months to tell me that my test wasn't completed right. What I sent her was a 1 step TB skin test not a 2 step TB skin test. The email said that she still needed my TB skin test. and that I have until tomorrow to turn it in or else I will fail. I am out all of my tuition money the time I took off work, along with my time. I will never get this money back or my time. I failed this program because a teacher didn't respond to my email fast enough. If she had told me back on MAY 30th or anytime in JUNE or JULY. Then I would have got the right test turned in on time and wouldn't have failed. This school is a nightmare.

This student started the SRNA program in May. The format of this class allows the students 3 months to select lab days, clinical dates and complete all outlined course work (26H) and any health records that need to be completed. The 2 step TB Skin test is outlined in the state KRS stipulating not only who and how and length that each student going to clinical's must complete a 2 step TB skin test. Since students often have questions on the first day of class the students are given a handout that explains what a 2 step TB skin test is, this handout is attached this complaint and is very specific in the length of time, and the process. I have also included the students handbook acknowledgement that outlines that students are responsible for submitting information for clinical time. The student in question was emailed that he did not have a full 2 step TB and was given a deadline to provide that document. This document can not be submitted a day prior to clinical time, due to the facility needing it prior to the students arrival and ensuring that the documents are correct within the facility (per that clinical facility guidelines). We believe that we made every attempt to explain to the students what a 2 step TB skin test was and when it was due (orientation, lab day 1 and 2 reminder email, plus additional correspondence with staff). We should additionally point out that the state TB skin test form has a section that states "TWO STEP PPD:PATIENT TO RETURN TO CLINIC" which should have indicated to the student that a blank section and explanation means more to be completed.

Student in question has never mentioned the CPR card to any school staff. We would encourage them to search email for key words aha and AHA @elearning in both spam and junk. If the student can not find the digital card sent to them, they can reach out to staff who can resend the digital card to them.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I received no reply when I sent the TB skin test to ***** *******,, she couldn't look at the document, that I sent her and notice that It wasn't completed? I had this done at a local clinic, they told me it was a 2 step TB skin test, I had no reason to doubt it.   I sent a picture of the completed test to ***** ******* and she received it, saying she couldn't read it very well because of the picture quality,  so I sent another email with a better camera. At this point I received no reply, so I thought that it was done and completed...She didn't reply with, hey you still need to complete this document?.. She waited 2 months to email me back with a response that  said i still need this document you have 2 days. . Also I have checked my spam folders and every other folder and have not found my AHA CPR certificate. I would at least like that so that I took something from this program other than the knowledge of knowing that A teacher at this school isn't much help.

      Sincerely,

      ******* *****

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/20) */ All students that start the SRNA program are given a student handbook, that they sign that they acknowledge the requirements of the program. The student emailed the person in question on 8/12/21 @838 am, and again on 8/16/21@3:39pm. Those emails where answered on 8/17/21 @1138 am with an explanation that the email had funneled to the spam folder. At that email the student was told each outstanding item that needed to be addressed. Those items are found in the student manual and syllabus and are provided at the beginning of the course. The student was given a deadline to provide 2nd TB Skin test by 8/26/21 (in anticipation of course ending on 8/29). The student was explained this is a state requirement for course completion, not the school. Student was given information sheet explaining the 2 step TB skin test. Student told Owner via email 8/19/21 @ 206p that she would attempt to get TB skin test by 8/26/21 and would go forward with course. Student signed roster and was present for orientation as well as acknowledgment of handbook and policies. All emails and documents are available for review. Consumer Response /* (2000, 8, 2021/08/21) */ I have been contacted by the school the dispute has been resolved
