I purchased a vehicle from ***** 6k and under and since purchasing my vehicle I have had nothing but problems with this suv. I have tried to take it to the carlot to have it inspected and the owner goes in his office when I pull into the lot every time and tells his secretary that he is now on a important business call. My vehicle is now shutting off and rebooting and also calling onstar randomly while the car is on.

I am purchasing a truck from this company starting January 28th and since I took the truck back to their shop 4 times. All four times they said they fix it with the last time trying to use the power train warranty I got when I purchased the truck. Was told they flushed the transmission and it was fixed, I pulled off their lot and the transmission slipped worse than when I took it and dropped it off, so I pulled right back in and told them. They kept the truck for 4 weeks and still never fixed it. Told me they had a transmission on the way, it should arrive that night and my truck would be done by the end of the night. 4 days later my truck was still in the same spot and there wasn’t a transmission on the way and they couldn’t produce any paperwork on how much the transmission cost, how many miles it had on it or the 6 month warranty they told me came with it. They said the power train warranty they gave me only covered $2000 of the cost then I would be responsible for the remaining balance but they are also unable to supply me with paperwork for the warranty! The only thing they have done was reset the check engine light, 1 of the 4 times they said they fixed the truck they said they changed the MAP sensor and I had to stop 10 miles down the road and buy one and when I changed it, the factory one was still in it. I have now picked my truck up and brought it home and was told I had to take it and pay the full price to fix it and then they would put it in their garage to see if the transmission was fixed then they would give me the $2000. I don’t believe this is a way to conduct business at all. Since January 28th my truck has been in their possession for 6 of the 8 weeks I’ve had the truck. Also they are not BBB accredited but they have a sign in the lobby saying they are

On October 31st my business partner and I purchased a vehicle for an immediate trip to CT. We were in a hurry and took there word the vehicle was sound. On the way to CT the car was pulling to the right. We had it aligned and did everything we could to fix the issue. It persisted once back in town 2 months later and we took it to our mechanic in KY. He discovered there was no cap on the brake fluid. So the issue was air in the brake line locking up the brakes on the right side. Hence the pull. It could be easily remedied but the 6K has: hung up on me on the phone the first time I called with the issue, blamed us for the issue, and refused to do anything about it claiming, “Sir you’ve been driving it for 2 months.” I do not believe it is legal to sell a car in this condition. It certainly wasn’t safe. We are very lucky it didn’t lock up completely on the interstate and kill us.

*** ******** purchased a vehicle from us on 10/31/24, and at the time, *** ******** test drove the vehicle and the only request was to install a new battery, which was done before he took possession of the vehicle. on 12/31/24, ******** called our service department and was extremely hostile to the individual who took the call, who was only trying to explain that it would be extremely unlikely that a brake cap missing for over 2 months wouldbe been noticed by the "mechanic" who did the alignment and would be a very unlikely cause to the issue he was describing. ******** became more aggressive and said he would call his lawyer, which at that point we are no longer able to continue communication to protect ourselves and our company. ********* was advised to have his lawyer call us and we can continue the discution.

Soon after, he decided to come into the office, and was harassing the gentleman in my office about the same issue, to the point that the person with him asked him to step out.

A brake cap is a very small issue that could've been resolved rather quickly, but Mr ******** decided to use aggression and intimidation instead of simply asking for assistance.

july 2024 the day it was purchased 5,000 has been spent since purchased A safe and dependable vehicle that was up to PDI standards was what was expected. Electrical malfunction at dangerous speed that was caused by the loose wiring hanging out the water guard under the passenger rear wheel area They want tow the vehicle offer to look at the vehicle if we make a car payment up front and then will tell me how much it cost to fix after we paid first was very nasty and because of my gender i was blatantly treated a way that made me very uncomfortable false advertising was the only advertising used

My apologies, the complaint is a little difficult to understand.

From what I was told, the customer had a service issue with her vehicle and she was told to tow it in so we can take a look at it. We advised her that we won’t begin to service it until her account is current. She has the option and I believe already had an estimate at another garage for the issue. If she doesn’t not want us to service the vehicle she is more than welcome to service it elsewhere. I’m not entirely sure what the complaint is, considering the vehicle has normal wear and the customer has had the vehicle for a couple months with no indication of any issues.

Needed a car for my teen son, so he can go to school, work, and monthly training drills. paid for by himself. They offered a service contract if we had any issues with the vehicle. After having just a few days we noticed a harder shift in transmission. So, we walked into do a service Maintenace not knowing we needed and appointment. Made a fool of myself. *** kept walking and being rude when my husband asks to drive the vehicle if they didn't believe us. he kept saying make an appointment and walked away closing the door in our face. of course, I was mad at this point. WHY NOT JUST GIVE ME AN APPOINTMENT WHEN I CAME IN. On Sept 5, 2024, I called several times to make an appointment. NO CALL BACK NO ANSWER. On Sept 6th, I called again several times, emailed both the business and office manager emails. Had reached the title clerk who said he was the only one there at the moment he would deliver the message...STILL NO CALL BACK NO ANSWERS. on Sept 7th called again, got the ***e gentleman. got no call back. At this point I am more furious with the lies and bullshit of a guaranteed service contract to fix any issues i was promised at the beginning of the deal. THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE SALE. I decided to go in and demand answers. I was told by *** that they will not be servicing the vehicle. SO, THEY LIED ABOUT THE SERVICE CONTRACT which is stated on the bill of sale in the amount of $499. *** says that in fact is not an actual service contract but a fee to charge for the tax, title, license, dealer fees. I JUST WANT IT MADE RIGHT AND GET A FULL REFUND DUE TO LIES AND RUSHED SALE. On the rush sale...the salesman **** kept pushing for payment before even test driving the vehicle. He had my husband who is an unlicensed driver drive the car during a severe thunderstorm. I think they knew exactly what they were doing when they kept pushing. Kept saying it will be serviced if any issues came out later...WELL IT NEEDS TRANSMISSION WORK NOW. MAKE IT RIGHT

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: they failed to contact me even after canceling the insurance. They did call me once to get insurance on it and I refused on Sept 19th. Since they WAS NOT honoring the service contract. It took them from Sept 5th til Sept 19 to get a call back in which they stated that they would honor the contract up to $1500 that I would have to pay the rest of possible $5400 as estimated from the transmission specialist. To cover the cost and their mechanic. At first they said theyvwould put it on the back of payments. Then in the ***e call they stated i would have to come up with it up front. It took them til Oct 3rd(possible date) of repossession. They failed every attempt up until they finally got the complaints filed on several occasions. They basically stole my down payment with lies as they also stated in this response. So are they double charging their customers with lies and fees? The car was going to cost me about $18,000 for a 2012 Camry with roughly 175,000 miles, with a transmission replacement. They will con and scam anyone with their lies.

So basically they was not going to honor the contract if I still had to pay for the transmission at the back of my payments or up front as they changed their mind in the phone call on Sept 19th.
REFUND MY $2000 THAT **** BASICALLY CONNED ME OUT OF WITH THE LIES.
    Sincerely,

I’ve already discussed this with the customer in an extensive phone call. She was told that she needed to reinstate the insurance for the contract to stay in good standing and she refused to do so. There was a miscommunication at the time of sale and we still honored what a warranty would cover, and offered to finance a portion of the repair on her account but she never responded to our attempts to contact her and see what she had decided to do.

    ********** ********

I am rejecting this response because: after several attempts and emails sent. I recieved no calls back. Until i filed complaints. They lied to me at sale. There was no miscommunication on my end at the time of sale. I was offered the service contract by not 1 but 2 salesman. Who I guess lied to make the fraudulent sale. NO I AM NOT PAYING for the transmission repair that they knew was the issue from a prior customer. Which they probably rigged long enough for me to make it off the lot.

NO I AM NOT PAYING $18000 for junk basically. They lied to me at the sale, they lied to me in only one phone call that i recieved. All they wanted was the car back on the lot so they can resale to someone else to make even more profit.

They scammed me out of my sons $2000 with lies. Just as they are doing in this complaint.

They would have their own mechanics do the work so in all end they do the "service contract" theirself. So yes basically I was still paying the transmission. They stated it would take over a week to change out the transmission when the transmission specialist can do it in less than 10 hours.

Yes, I refused to get insurance on it because I had to get back atleast part of the money he spent on the junk. And I did refuse to make any payments. Why should I pay $18,000 for junk? They refused to give me the 3rd party serive contract contact information. Why? Because their mechanics do it theirself.

They are liars and scammers. You can refund me my $2000 that you fraudulent scammed me out of by not 1 but 2 of your salesman.

    Sincerely,

Unfortunately your lack of maintaining payments on a contract you agreed and signed for is not a “scam”. As I explained to you over the phone, only management has the authority to make those decisions and the people taking the payments can only note in your account a request to extend the payment. Your account was 2 payments past due with a third due 2 days later and you advised you could not pay until the 13th.

I bought a car from 6k and Under for 1501.00 solely based on them telling me the under frame was FIXABLE. The car didn't start and it also need a new alternator, battery and starter which I was willing to eat the cost for. The car was originally 1200.00. At sale he gave it to me for 1000.00 because he said the frame need to be fixed. He sent me the pictures and I took them to an auto body frame shop that told me the frame was NOT fixable and even if they did it would kill someone if hit because of all of the rust they would have to grind away in order to fix it. He also said for me to just sale the car and not drive it. Its a not safe. The other person in the office with him concurred. Again, I bought the car based on him telling me it was fixable. If I knew it was unfixable I would not have bought the car. They robbed me of my money and now wont give me a refund. I even asked for SOME of it back and I got ignored. This was 3/28 and 3/29. I posted the car to sale for parts only and a mechanic went with me back to the dealership(4/1/24) to tow the car, he pushed the car and it wobbled from side to side. No car should do that he said. He told the manager you should not have sold her this car. Its not drivable. Manager and I had words and said I knew about it I said ** said the front frame not the entire frame. Mechanic could not even tow it because it wobbled so bad. I left the car there and cut my losses. The other sales rep said he told ******** to not said the car but to junk it. But he decided to sale it anyway knowing the condition it was in. They took me for all of money and didnt want to give me a refund for scamming me.

the customer was well aware of the issues for the car, i advised her that it would take a lot to fix it and she insisted she had someone who could take her of it. i personally went to the car with the customer and pointed to the frame where the damage is and made it very clear that the whole frame would need to be replaced and the car was not in driving condition. the car would not start when we tried to get it running to show her that the engine was in working order, at that point i asked the customer to come back at a later date and i told her we would call if we got it running. the customer was insisting on putting down a deposit so we would not sell the car to someone else. i refused to take a deposit. at which point the mechanics were able to get the car started. the customer went and saw that the engine was OK, she called someone on the phone and advised that the frame, alternator and starter would need to be replaced. she insisted she wanted to buy the car, we did the paperwork and put everything in writing and the customer signed and was well aware of what she was buying.  she came the next day and picked up the vehicle on a tow truck

Dealer hid the mileage on info screen and told me he did not know how to pull it up on screen, and said it had approx 180,000 miles, when in reality it had over 210,000 miles on 2011 Tahoe, then when drove it very briefly was all they wanted me to drive tahoe, noticed it was overly loud, and ask bout was told it was muffler and they would fix it, didnt think much more bout it took it they would fix the issue. When returned to lot a day or so later, a boy meet me in the lobby after asking to speak to owner ******** and or boy that was involved with sale, i was rudely told they couldnt help me, i then ask again and this boy i had no dealing with was more rude and aggressive this time denying me again of my request to speak to owner or person involved in sale, i seen this was gonna go badly so i returned to my vehicle, then in 5 mins was told if was gonna just sit there then i needed to move. then i left, to avoid a arguement or worse with this boy i didnt even deal with, i then went to **** *********** were they made a alignment appointment for the ALIGNMENT they agreed to do, thank goodness i insisted upon this till they made appointment day of sale, cause i found the alignment could not be performed do to other suspension parts would have to be replaced first [ inner and outer tie rods, wheel bearing assemblies on driver and passenger sides of vehicle] per a certified mechanic @ **** ************ at this time i learned that the reason Tahoe was loud was do to catalytic converters on both sides had been removed and a section of pipe was attempted to be put in place of converters, and i mean attempted is all awful mess u ever seen. of course they are denying the exhaust repair now. and still have not gotten alignment done[ they agreed to do ] by appt.made

According to *** *****'s account, he is currently past due and has an issue with his insurance coverage and we believe that is why he is trying to "back out" of the contract.

In October 2023 I purchased a Chevy Express Van for 11,500.00. I was a little hesitant since it was a 2016 Model, so I asked about a warranty. The company issued a warranty and told me to call/text and set up an appointment if I had any issues. I drove it less than 20 miles and it completely locked up and wont drive at all. I've texted the salesman 4 times, I've called and left messages at the business number, my wife has called, and we've emailed...no response at all. I took the van to my local mechanic, and it needs a new transmission for over $8,000! This problem has to be resolved or legal matters will be taken.

I am rejecting this response because:

The paperwork that 6K emailed to me has the incorrect date on it. It needs to have the date that we purchased the vehicle and the warranty, which is the same date.
The vehicle purchase date was in October, but 6K and under dated the warranty paperwork for 11/9/23, therefore the claim is being denied. The company said 6K has to change the date to correct it, so the claim can be approved.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The warranty that came with our purchase, should've started the day the purchase was made. You didn't submit/file the paperwork until I filed a complaint with the BBB. Therefore they denied our claim because the van wasn't working when we drove it off the lot.

Legal paperwork has been filed and you will be receiving a summons to court in the next 7-10 days unless you take the van back for a full price refund.

    Sincerely,

Like mentioned previously, pleas refer to the email you were sent. You purchased the vehicle as-is from the dealership, and we provided you a warranty through a third party. All contractual obligations were met in the time frame agreed upon in the contract, therefor we have no further liability. The vehicle is yours, and any further discussion should be with the warranty company. Furthermore, this is another instance in mentioning attorneys or court proceedings, so please cease communication and have your lawyer contact us. We will not discuss this matter any further with you or through any non legal proceedings. Thank you.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

What you are saying isn't correct. Your company gave us a warranty but didn't submit it until I complained. Therefore the warranty company won't honor it. YOu can give us another warranty with a new contract ID or money in full.

    Sincerely,
