The mission of the KRCA is to provide information, training, and advocacy for our members and their customers. The KRCA is a nonprofit association that represents all segments of the roofing industry, including contractors, manufacturers, distributors, architects, and roof consultants. KRCA works to inform and assist consumers in choosing the best products and contractors to meet their roofing needs.

BUYER BEWARE! THERE IS NO LICENSING REQUIREMENT FOR ROOFING CONTRACTORS IN KENTUCKY!
Because there is no licensing apparatus for roofing contractors in Kentucky, KRCA developed contractor certification more than 10 years ago. This is a non-governmental way to assure the buying public that a Kentuckiana Roofing Contractors Association Certified Contractor is:
- Insured with minimum $1 million business liability and workers’ compensation insurance
- Bonded with a $10,000 judgment bond
- Committed to the KRCA Code of Ethics
- Participating in extensive continuing education
