              They will not give me an estimated cost of dental services such as the allowed amount. My provider had sent in a pre-treatment form. I just want to know how much it is going to be for my out of pocket expenses. They have to know the amount.

              I filed an appeal 3/7/2024 over dental malpractice. I called numerous times and left more than a few messages with my dental insurance with no return call. I attempted again today 6/18/2024. After speaking with the customer service rep, she placed me on hold and when she came back she asked if I was still on the line. I answered yes the first time and she answered me with the same question again. The second time she asked, I answered no and started laughing, the rep hung up on me. Though I did not find her hanging up on me funny I figured she must have been having a bad day. I waited a bit and called back and actually got the same rep again. I told her that hanging up on me was not professional and she agreed and said what I did was not professional either and placed me back on hold. When she came back, she said she was connecting me to her supervisor's voicemail and I could leave a message and the supervisor would call me back and immediately transferred me. I left my name, DOB, and phone number. Of course, the supervisor never called me back. The office lacks responsibility and professionalism. There is no regard for patient concern or care for that matter. I have been battling with a dental company over a dental malpractice and assumed I could get help from my dental insurance provider over the matter but that isn't the case. Where I have decided to sue the dentist's office, I guess I will be suing the dental insurance as well.
