    On march 24th I contacted a so-called handyman from the next-door phone app. The gentleman stated he had 30 years of experience doing yardwork. I gave him my address and had an appointment to meet at my house. When I arrived at my house, ****** the owner of the business was already cutting down things in my front yard which I did not authorize him to do. His work was unprofessional, horribly sloppy, and he was at my house for 30 minutes working before I told him to leave and I wasn’t interested in his services. He demanded $370 for 30 minutes of raking some of my front grass and then cutting down a very quality Bush that was over 10 feet high and30 years old. He cut the bush down to the nubs which was never discussed nor authorized. I told him I would pay him $100 which is the price we agreed on but he was demanding more money stating that he had to pay his employees and use gas for the spot. The gentleman showed up to my house in a car with just a rake and a hand held bush clippers in his trunk. The man would not leave my property and demanded more money. He was hostile irrational , and mentally aggressive. I gave him some money to get him to leave and told him to exit my property. I then called the police of St Matthews and they were familiar with this individual. They saw his radical behavior and irrational talk priori to my complaint as he was loitering in the neighborhood, the police told me to call them back if he ever returned to my street or if I ever saw this gentleman again.

    Paid $1300.00 on 4-13-24 to buy materials for fence. told fences to be installed on weekends of 4-15-24. No maters was delivered , contacted ***** an says they were have problems an fence would be delayed a week, no material was delivered. Numerous phone calls an tex message and no response. At end of May i requested a full deposit refund an canceled project. I was j told on 5-31-23 my deposit would be refunded but toddy 6/21-23 no refund yet numerous phone an tex messages to Lynsey no response.

    Called Lynsey Helping Hand. Per ***** ********* customer will not get full refund.  Had already ordered supplies.  Have sent to his CPA to have partial refund sent via certified mail.

    I am rejecting this response because:  

    Attached are screenshots of text messages and voicemails left to me. 

     

    I contacted ***** with Lynsey’s Helping Hand on April 13th and gave him a deposit of $1300 for the fence to be put up the following weekend April 15th. No one showed up. 

     

    I the. contacted by phone and text several times and got no response. ***** told me that the material would be delivered on May 5th or 6th for the fence. The material was not delivered. I contacted him again on May 15th and he claimed personal/family problems along with weather issues. He then told me that the fence should be done by end of week June 17th. At this point I asked for a refund and told them I was going to take my business elsewhere.
