Spent 7 weeks trying to get them to give me a quote for a 26Kw Generac generator install. In the end, I never got a quote, they wouldn’t show up. They kept putting me off and causing me to reschedule my plans with work. I flew back home once to meet with them only to get rescheduled at the last minute. I called them before the day of site evaluation, then they said they forgot to call me. They never call you ahead of time, you have to call them, then they and ask the same exact questions, nobody knows what’s going on there. I would give zero, but it isn’t an option. Lowe’s uses these people to install generac generators, but this company is not a part of Generac. I’ve never consulted with a company so low level and unorganized. I could only imagine what would happen if I needed them to do a repair. Absolutely 100% useless to talk with them. They assume zero responsibility.Absolute Services

I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you’ve experienced in trying to receive a quote for your Generac generator installation. I understand how disappointing it must be to face repeated delays and lack of communication, and I deeply regret that we did not meet your expectations. We take your feedback seriously, and I will personally review the situation with our team to ensure that issues like these don’t occur in the future. It's clear that there were multiple breakdowns in communication and scheduling, and I understand how that disrupted your plans. I also want to clarify that while we do install products like Generac generators, we are not affiliated with Generac, and we operate as a subcontractor to the retailer. However, I want to make sure we take responsibility for the service side of things, and I’ll ensure we follow up on any loose ends. Additionally, I want to mention that during storms or power outages, we prioritize our clients who are without power before providing estimates for working equipment. If you were without power, we would give your situation the same level of priority. If you'd like, I can have a manager reach out to you to discuss the details of your experience and any possible next steps.Review fromRobert P

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent HVAC installation. I understand your frustration, and I want to clarify a few important points about the situation. After reviewing the concerns you raised, we found that the system is operating properly and is putting out air at temperatures above 90 degrees, as confirmed during our visit. However, we’ve noted that the home has significant insulation issues, including plywood walls with no insulation, which is the primary reason for heat loss and difficulty in maintaining temperature. As we’ve mentioned previously, without addressing these insulation issues, the home will continue to struggle with heat retention. Once the insulation is properly installed, we’d be happy to revisit the system to ensure everything is working as it should. We understand this is frustrating, and I want to assure you that we are committed to helping you resolve this. Our team has always worked hard to provide clear and accurate information, and while it’s difficult to fix the home’s heating problems without addressing the insulation, we’re happy to work with you once those issues are corrected.Review fromMarilyn D

I signed up and paid $610 for a 3 year membership with Absolute Services and 2024 would be the last year of my membership. The perks of supposedly having a membership gave you discounts for jobs that needed to be done and a yearly maintenance for electrical, plumbing, garage door and HVAC. I’m assuming since I have a newer home, there isn’t much to do but it’s good practice to maintain your home. Well, since it’s my last year of membership, I scheduled maintenance visits to see if things were good. I had maintenance work done on my garage door which the guy was great. But for the plumbing and electrical, I received the same message saying there was an emergency so they would have to reschedule my appt. And I know there isn’t much discrepancies to find with plumbing and electrical so they just pushed it back. I think it’s fraudulent to get a customer to signup for a membership and not perform the job that’s supposed to be done. They didn’t even have the decency to call me to reschedule. They never replied to the texts either. Absolute Services is a fraudulent and dishonest company and I would advice to whoever reads this to be careful with them.Absolute Services

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your membership and recent experience with our services. I’m truly sorry to hear about your frustration, and I’d like to address the concerns you raised. During the cold snap, we had multiple urgent issues, including busted water lines and electrical service interruptions caused by fallen trees, which required immediate attention. As a result, we prioritize situations where systems are not working over scheduled maintenance, which led to the rescheduling of your plumbing and electrical visits. I understand this was inconvenient, and I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication regarding those reschedules. This is not the standard of service we strive to provide. We genuinely appreciate you being a member of Absolute Services, and I understand your disappointment in not receiving the full value of your membership. Please know that we are committed to addressing your concerns. If you’d like, we can reschedule the plumbing and electrical maintenance at a time that works for you once the current urgent issues have been resolved. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and any negative feelings this situation has caused. We take your feedback seriously, and I will ensure that our communication and service levels improve moving forward.Review fromJohn P

1 starPurchased a top end garage door from ******, very poor installation, door hard to lift, roller brackets are put on crooked, the roll bars the same.the roller bars bow out when door is up which doesn't go up all the way unless forced.holes missed drilled there are extra holes in the door itself. Lock doesn't fit well the hangers were from the old door which were bent and crooked, the cable crosses over the front edge of the door when closing. They put 2 handles on the inside and was told that the plastic foot peg was to open from out side.Stated that was right, then the installer agrued after checking the manual. Put a another handle on outside, when questioned about how that was done incorrect he reinstall it poorly. Called and complained and they sent him back the next week correct a few things, but most issues were unresolved, said he move an straighten brackets, but their would be new drill hole along side of the old ones which would make a weak attachment to the metal door.Stated I should contact the manufacturer. Called absolute services to convay my dissatisfaction and the service manager was very combative, suggested I contact the manufacturer, very disappointedReview fromCasey V

In June we went through Lowe’s to find someone who could look at our HVAC system as it was not working. Lowe’s suggested Absolute Services. The tech who came out was nice and cordial. He went ahead and installed a capacitor that was bad. He then kindly went through his suggestions and then he got his supervisor on the phone to do the big sales pitch on what we needed. Essentially a whole new system and he told us all the varying prices. They were super pushy in getting the “best” new system which one was 15k and that wasn’t even the top tier one. However, being young homeowners we thought I mean I guess w3 need to get it done. Fortunately, after confiding in a family member I pulled out of the contract. This company tries to upsell you on a product that your house can’t even handle. The tech was fine, but the supervisor who just via phone was pushy and felt like they prey on the naive. Again the tech was wonderful, it was the projector manager, Drew, who did the sales pitch all over the phone. My realtor suggested that I make a review, so other people are aware.Absolute Services

Choosing Absolute is BY FAR the worst mistake we’ve made yet as homeowners. We bought 2 new HVAC systems, air and furnace, after aggressive up selling from the salesman. We haven’t had 3 months go by without a problem of some sort. Most of the problems end up taking a week or more to fix. Our current problem, which they’ve “fixed” twice before is now on *DAY 14* of no air, in the middle of a heatwave, and I can’t even get a manager, or anyone, to even call me back about a timeline to fix it. I was literally told “our phones are acting up” after I called and was left on hold until the worker had to ask twice if I was still there. Absolutely everything they’ve ever told me was a complete and utter lie, and I’m not sure how the product, the reliability, and especially the service could be Amy worse than it is. Whatever you do, choose literally anyone else but Absolute Services. They absolutely WILL NOT honor whatever it is they are selling you.Absolute Services

We are genuinely sorry to hear about your recent experience with Absolute Services and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, and we take it very seriously. Regarding your current issue, we understand the frustration of being without air conditioning during a heatwave. We are currently awaiting a part from the manufacturer, which has unfortunately delayed the repair process. This situation is far from ideal, and we apologize for not effectively communicating this delay to you. We also regret any lapse in our communication and the inconvenience you faced when trying to reach us. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we are addressing these concerns internally to prevent such occurrences in the future. Please know that we are doing everything in our power to expedite the delivery of the part and will prioritize your repair as soon as it arrives. We are committed to resolving this issue for you as quickly as possible. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We would like to discuss this matter further and find a way to make it right. Please contact our General Manager at 502-833-8444 so we can assist you directly.Review fromJohn C.

Refund and customer service issue - As past clients across different areas of the business (HVAC, garage, electric, etc.) we called for an AC diagnosis. Quote seemed egregiously high, yet we paid a deposit to hold warranty part and schedule, told we could call to cancel. I called within a day to share I'd received a much lower, trusted quote. A price match was not offered so we cancelled. The charge was not even pending yet. No work was done, nothing was ordered, nothing signed. Within two days, the charge went through on my card. I was told a refund was requested, waited 7-10 days, and no refund. There was minimal care or correspondence, despite asking for email proof or a call back. It's been weeks of time + frustration. No correspondence happened until I mentioned a Credit Card dispute and BBB. I see other similar reviews related to deposits sadly. The issue is now with Credit Card dispute team and Absolute. I am looking forward to a resolution and refund. This was avoidable and unnecessary, all trying to over-charge then not promptly refunding a deposit. We will not ever return as clients and grateful to those helping us to resolve getting done what was promised.Absolute Services

just fine, but not so much the garage door. It was inoperative. Due to rules in our condo, I needed it fixed asap. Absolute services came out to inspect the damage. I was told it was not practical to fix. We picked out a door that was the same, but with a lot more insulation. The cost was $3947.22, they required a non refundable deposit of $1184.16. I needed it fixed right away so I paid the non refundable deposit. After they left, my neighbor came over to see what was going on. He told me I needed a second opinion, because he thought the current door could be fixed. I had B******** ****** **** come out and diagnose the problem. He fixed it right then for $127. It’s been working for about a year. It actually works better by having replaced the roller with the proper size. ISSUE The deposit was based on the need for a new door replacement. When this proved to be false, this agreement was nullified.Absolute Services

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and thank you understanding that the door you chose to have installed would have been a much more efficient door than your current one. We say that it's not practical to repair due to age of the door/opener, insulation rating, and overall condition of the equipment. We provide the option to replace, but the option to repair will always be available to choose. Garage doors are just like any other piece of mechanical equipment, where the maximum efficiency of that door with the lifetime, decreases over time and will only last around 8-12 years depending on the level of maintenance performed over the years. A lot of other companies will offer just the basic repair option, while we offer the repair with the replacement option, while putting emphasis on what will have the greatest return of investment for the client and then letting them choose what option best fits them. We require a non-refundable deposit on all equipment that isn't stock, in the instance the order is canceled, we are unable to return the product back to the manufacturer. If there is anything we can help clear up, please don't hesitate to give us a call at 502-833-8444.Review fromDoris W

Absolute Services is absolutely the worst hvac company you could hire in the Elizabethtown area. I hired them to simply come out light the pilot light. They came out spent less than five minutes looking at the unit and then told me that I would have to replace the igniter for over $900.00. Then after doing nothing but telling me that they charged me $57.00. I had an another company come in and look at unit, that company managed to get the pilot light lit without replacing the igniter. The unit has continued to stay lit and has had no problems. When i called the company to complain that their tech had lied and tried to over charge me they refused to do anything about it. When I told them I would leave this review they laughed. I guess they have no problem over charging and lying to elderly, disabled, women. Beware.Absolute Services

This is a complaint directed at Absolute Services managment that made the decision to knowingly send 2 employees to do a very important job of cleaning/sanitizing my vents and installing a UV/Air Scrubber to help me and my family health in my home. I'm a 25yr retired disabled combat veteran/Senior. There were red flags waiving at me from the beginning of this transaction." Getting old soldier", 1. Absolute Services sales person came to my home 3 days prior and gave me a estimate and didn't know how to properly input information on thier pad, had to go thru Absolute Services headquarters for directions. 2. Had me put down 30%. 3. Absolute Services were the highest of three estimates. 4 Absolute Services still use the big and bulky in home room to room bulky machine that have the tendency to break or damage somethings in your home while moving to room to room. 5. Absolute workers was not sure how to operate machinery properly. Imagine the damage they could have cause to my home, and HVAC system. 6.Absolute Services probably would have tried to blame me or say it was not their fault IMJS. 5. ABSOLUTE SERVICES sent two employee that had no experience in HVAC Vent/Sanitizing Services or procedures 6. Spoke person for Absolute Services on the day of service during phone conversation at Absolute Services was not for shure about procedures as well. 7. Absolute Services still wanted to sell and service UV/Scrubber inspite of formention. 8. Absolute Services want 1800+ dollar's without a membership!! Man thats crazy! I immediately told Absolute Service D********* my HVAC installer gave me a 1500.00 estimate Absolute Services bettered by 50.00. I thought was a good deal not forsee the future. 9. Had to go thru bank to get my deposit back. I needed it ASAP to get my vents cleaned else were.Airis affecting my health10. Never heard from Absolute Services to explain, apologies or recei436.00 refund 11. Six (P's) Prior, Preparation, Prevents, Piss, Poor, Performance sirAbsolute Services
