      Bought a key from them when they were at ******. I was assured that I just needed to call the van number and they will come on Monday or Tuesday to make the key for me. The key took 1 month to arrive at my home. After that, I called the van and main number multiple times for 2 weeks, and kept on leaving messages. The main number returned my call, but they also were only able to leave a message with the van that was supposed to cut my key. They have no other way of getting in touch withe van or making an appointment for me. Now, I'm onto 3 weeks of waiting for a call back from the van. Still no key or even an appointment made 1.5 months after purchasing a key! The worst customer service ever!

      One of my worst shopping experiences ever. They are incompetent and unhelpful when you discover their incompetence. I paid my $99 at a kiosk in Costco. After two weeks, no key had yet arrived. I contacted them and it turned out the order was made, but they had no contact info for me. I had entered all the info on the iPad when I was at the kiosk, so clearly they messed something up in submitting the information. I added my info to the order, and it took another week or more to arrive at my house. When I brought it in to be programmed, he said he couldn't get it programmed. The bag that they had sent me with what was supposed to be a new key fob had the word "Damaged" written on it. They had sent me a damaged, not fresh fob! Now it is two weeks later and I am still waiting for a fob to arrive. They have been completely unhelpful in my requests for a discount or expedited shipping for all my time and energy chasing this problem down, even belligerent at times. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

      TERRIBLE SERVICE I PURCHASED KEY FOB AUGUST 31 2024 GOT A FOB TWO WEEKS LATER AND TOLD TO CALL WHEN I RECEIVE THE FOB IN THE MAIL AND I DID.CAR KEYS EXPRESS GIVE ME A DATE LOCATION WHERE THEY WOULD BE WHICH IS SAMS CLUB WHEN I WENT TO THE LOCATION I WAS TOLD THE KEY WASN'T UNLOCKED SO CAR KEY EXPRESS SENT THE KEY FOB BACK AND I HAD TO DO THE PROCESS OVER AGAIN.TWO WEEK LATER I RECEIVED THE KEY FOB AND CALLED CAR KEYS EXPRESS TO GET A DATE AND LOCATION FOR THE NEAREST SAMS CAR KEYS EXPRESS GIVE A DATE 10/7/2024,10/7/2024 I CALLED THEY SAID WASN'T GOING TO BE NEAR MY LOCATION .THE LOCATION THEY HAD WAS ONE HOURS AND MINUTES AWAY THE FOLLOWING WEEK THEY'RE BE NEAR ME 10/14 AT 11AM . I SHOWED UP AT THE NEAREST LOCATION THE TECH TOLD ME HE WAS UNSURE ABOUT PROGRAMMING A KEY FOB FOR A 2010 GENESIS .THE TECH ASKED ME DID I GET A CODE AND IF I DIDNT CALL THE DEALERSHIP I TOLD THE TECH THATS AGAINST TO CODE OVER THE PHONE THE OWNER IS REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF OWNERSHIP.THIS IS MISLEADING INFORMATION A KEY PROGRAMMER IS SUPPOSE TO KNOW THIS OR THEY SHOULDN'T BE IN BUSINESS

      The programmer worked great but DO NOT use their cutting key by pictures service. They sent me a key that wouldn't open the doors and trunk and ruined my ignition tumbler because it turned so hard. The key looked nothing like the picture and they told me they cut the key per the original key, but that cannot be true because it wouldn't open doors or trunk. They were not willing to send me a blank key so I could have it cut myself either. Don't waste your money. Just go to the dealer. It's more money but it will be right the first time.

      I'm very disappointed with Car Keys Express. They sent me the wrong key initially, so I couldn't pair it. They sent me another key. Again, it was the wrong key that couldn't be paired. When you call them, there's the option of pressing start and they will call you back. BUT THEY NEVER DO! So you have to stay on the line. Whenever they transfer you to someone else, you get lost in the system and have to wait on the line while listening to their obnoxious music. I'm asking for a refund. I doubt that they will actually issue it.

      The tech guy that came out was an *******! Very rude, had to call the police, wouldn’t give his name, wouldn’t make the key. Said he was t doing **** and not paying **** back laughed and hung up! The worst encounter I’ve ever had with a tech of any form. Would put his name but he refused to give his name.

      Tech Joshua k******** was very knowledgeable, he arrived as promised and worked quickly. He was very pleasant. I would recommend to anyone who needs keys made to give car keys express a call.

      They fail to abide by warranty. Bought 2 fobs at event in big store on 9/12/21 the fobs were not on hand & required to be shipped took a couple weeks to receive brought in for programming that weekend 10/2/21. Warranty is supposed to begin 30 days after the technician programsand be good for 3 years. Fobs should be under warranty til beginning of November 2024 based on this. One quit working several months ago and now the 2nd quit working correctly this month. They are refusing to abide by the warranty using an excuse they were purchased and paid for on 9/12/21. Do not purchase fobs from this company they are not built to last, I have had my deal fobs last far more than 2 years with no issues.

      Expense exceeds *** with the multiple drives and waits for service and still no key. Ordered at ******, key out of stock, told key would be mailed and to schedule an appt to program and cut key. Called to schedule and they told me it would be faster to go to another ******, and this ****** was further from my house. Waited in line at the second ******, retrieved my newly cut/programmed key only to go to my car and one of the buttons for the cargo door did not work on the new key. Tried my old key and it appears that the company de-programmed that one too. Went back to the service provider. He went back to the car and programmed the original key again, and then discovered that the key provided by Car Keys Express was the wrong key and did not have the capacity to raise the cargo door. The service provider said that they would mail me a new key and I would have to schedule another appt to cut and program the new key. I asked for the key they had just cut (that had the capacity to unlock and start my car), as I did not know them and they had my address, and he said I could have it if I paid for both that bad key and the new key they would mail. I declined to pay for the wrong key, he cut a notch in it so it would not open the door and said they would deprogram the buttons that could still open my car at a later time. I told him that policy was still unacceptable that they could access my car with that key and I was supposed to leave under these conditions. I asked what compensation for the inconvenience, he said none. I called the company to cancel my order, and tell them the policy was unacceptable, and they said they could not refund my money and invited me to go back to ****** to get a refund from them. I went to ****** a third time and waited in line. I got the refund. I have no key after hours into this. *** is more cost-effective with the waste of time, and fuel to drive to ****** three times.
