I have now tried using Car Keys Express twice now. Neither time worked. Last year I was at a wholesale store and they had a booth set up so I figured I'd try them. They had two possible key fobs for my make and model car. Of course the one I needed was the more expensive of the two and they didn't have it in stock. It wasn't going to show up any time soon so I gave up. Last month they were back so I went as far as buying the fob I needed. Again they didn't have any of the correct fobs on them so they ordered one. I was told it would take about a week and I have yet to see the fob. I hve called them several times now an they say it shipped but nothing yet.Review from Cassie B

I really enjoyed working with the people at Car Keys Express. I was robbed & the key to my truck was stolen. So of course, a new one had to be made. I called Car Keys Express & made an appointment to have a new key made. Unfortunately there was a mix-up with the mechanic I'm using. Due to that I was not able to use Car Keys Express. They refunded my money the same day I canceled my appointment. The receptionist, Sierra, was absolutely amazing! She is knowledgeable & up front, friendly, gave me great advice & was just very pleasant in general. If she was not able to answer one of my questions. Then she would have a mechanic call me back within a reasonable amount of time. I would gladly recommend Car Keys Express to anyone in need!Car Keys Express/iKeyless Response

I would like to think that most customers would have a good experience, but I can only report on mine. With regards to the value of the product, 3/5 stars. My new key does start my car and lock and unlock my door. The key does NOT pop my trunk though, even though there is a button for it. The key itself appears to be a knock off of the original key; pretty close looking to the original, but not exactly the same. With regards to the buying process, 2/5 stars. The key did come quickly, but it was difficult to figure out where their car was going to be. The company's website, whether the national one or the local branch, did not have any information about how to find where their vans were at. ******** website did have some information, but with the asterisk of "dates and events are subject to change." The number that they gave for information automatically sends you straight to a voicemail recording without the option of speaking to anyone. I was finally able to find a chat window on their website, and after an hour of waiting, I was able to finally receive an answer to my question about where to go. At Costco, I was told my key would take 15 minutes. After shopping for 30 minutes, I came out with my groceries, and they had not even started the process, in fact, they had temporarily misplaced my key. I was then stuck outside for the next hour while they actually did the work: in 90 degree heat, with my groceries, unable to go back inside and unable to access my car. Not a good experience. I may have saved a few dollars, but I was definitely left questioning whether the experience aspect was worth it.Review from Joyce A

We were excited to order the FOB for our newer Bronco, a little less than dealership. Sadly, the difference in cost did not compensate time spent in follow up and frustration. Ordered the FOB at a local Costco. Was told to expect 2 emails within 48 hours. 48 hours later...no emails. Left voicemail, sent text message and several calls with no voicemail all went unanswered. 4 days later same routine (VM, email, several calls) no response. 6th day after order I posted on Facebook company page - no response! Now I see this is not a person issue - it is their customer service standard. We did not have a confirmation to enter on website (this was 1 of 2 emails were were supposed to receive). Imagine, if we just received that email what could have been avoided in time and disappointment. We are returning to Costco today for a refund. This level of customer "care" "support" is disappointing.Car Keys Express/iKeyless Response

I have been communicating with this customer through facebook messages. I am so sorry for this experience. We pride ourselves on good customer service, and we unfortunately dropped the ball. Somehow, this order never made it into our internal system from the tech. We are working to resolve it.Review from Mark S

I've been trying to call this company for 3 months. They are not returning my call or answering my email. Is this company out of business? I loved the first experience (about 2 years ago) but this time, I was sent a non working key and no device? I've tried to call back at least 5 - 6 times now. It is answered asking you what department you are looking for. Once you press that button, you are put on a brief hold, then an automated voice comes on the line and states that I need to call back later. I have reached out to Mark. I am so sorry for the inconvenience. We take hundreds of calls a day, so I am not sure where this problem is stemming from. In looking at his order, he ordered a fob, no key cutting or programming. I have contacted Mark to see how we can help!Review from Alicia E

I was impressed from time I made the initial order to the on site visit. Lee was very polite and professional. He ensured I had chosen the right fob for my duplicate key. I had him meet me at my work location and he did. Everything took less than 15 minutes. ThanksCar Keys Express/iKeyless Response

Worst key company ever! I ordered a spare key online. The online dispatch set an appointment for the following day and said I should await the technician’s call. The following day I waited until 2 pm in the afternoon then I called dispatch to find out if I still had an appointment. The technician called me back and said they need to order a key. This was fine but I waited a week am a half for an appointment. An appointment was scheduled again the day of the appointment the technician called me and said he wasn’t going to make it that day. So we rescheduled again remember I already paid for the key online. So finally on appointment day he calls I tell him I’m on my way meeting him at location originally specified. He sends me a different location with text I was already in my car on my way. So that was a little confusing thankfully we were both talking about the same location just had different addresses. So I let him know I arrived he says he’ll only be a few minutes. I waited for him for an hour before he finally came and made the key. This experience was the worst customer service ever. If you need a key made skip car keys express there’s nothing express about them just go to dealership.Car Keys Express/iKeyless Response

It’s rip off. Like the dealer and locksmiths Car Key Express wants you to buy a key from them. These keys are mass produced in China for a few dollars at most. So the third party will charge you a lot for something you can buy for about $10-$15 on line. And that’s why people will go to the effort to do it themselves. Car Key and the rest can stuff it. I did myself and it cost a total of $64. All you need to know is on line.Review from Edward W

CKE Had a booth at Costco. I asked if my keyfob was available, car stated they had two. I purchased them both. They lied as they did not have it in stock. I was told the key fobs would be shipped in a week and after 3 weeks, I called and was told they were back ordered. I told them I would wait. The very next day, I received a cancellation email and was instructed to go back to Costco for a refund. Not very professional.Car Keys Express/iKeyless Response

I am so sorry for your experience. Unfortunately, we were unable to complete the order because there was no estimation of when we would receive the key in. Since you paid through Costco, that is the only way to get the refund. I truly do apologize for the inconvenience.
