    I hired **** ***** from this firm. I gave him $5500 to represent me on a resisting arrest , menacing & speeding ticket. I was also charged with DUI but it was automatically dropped when my BAC came back .000 no alcohol detected. He said that would be all I had to pay no matter how many times we went to court , until I was found guilty or not guilty the money was settled he said. After a jury trial, which ended in a mistrial , a Writh he filed without my consent , which ended up be thrown out by a judge * ** ***** sends me an email saying per our discussion on the phone he is withdrawing as my counsel. I NEVER ONCE had a conversation with him about withdrawing. That was a lie & he pretty much admitted to it being a lie! I was upset with his incompetence as far as not filing the proper motion so my case would move along & not drag out for the next 15 years! He just up & withdraws & tries to say he was doing it according to a phantom phone conversation! Here I am out $5500 & no attorney & no closer to a settlement than the day I was arrested. I had to pay another attorney $1150 just to file the appeals that his incompetence left me! I tried calling the office & talking to a senior partner & pretty much got horse laughed by him through the phone. Then my new attorneys informs me that it will cost more because Simms never submitted the proper evidence for the appeal, and he would have to motion the court to get the evidence submitted!! $5500 and I got nothing but incompetence!
