We had a very bad over all experience with this company strategic wealth designers. First, they charge you for basic knowledge where if you have been to one of these types of events you already know the information they provide for a fee. Second, all they want is your money to tie it up for years under (safety net) language. They use subtle fear-based tactics to convince you to give them control of your money. They say they use a wholistic approach, but they don't ( i have recorded proof of this fact). My advice is before you send off your dollars to someone else to manage them (for a fee) make sure you know and understand what you're doing. once you give away positive control of your money, you can't easily get it back. if you do need an advisor, try to ask friends family for recommendations, look online for complaints, the BBB rates them ok, but BBB might not be fully aware of a deeper problem which i suspect.

Just prior to retiring, my wife and I attended SWD’s Retirement Planning University with Jordan S as our instructor. This was a two-evening interactive educational seminar that covered the complete scope of retirement planning – e.g. taxes, income planning, Medicare, Social Security, estate planning, etc. We followed up with a 1:1 strategy session with Jordan to review our current assets, goals, and retirement strategy.
