1 starDo not Trust Strategic Wealth Designers with your savings. In 2021 we invested $250,000.00 with them based on what they told us about past performance. They told us this investment had returned over 9% every year, for the past 20 years. Of course, we had to lock in for 10 years for this "great investment" There were no guarantees made, or expected, but after 3 years with 0 interest, we feel we were lied to about the past performance. We had a very bad over all experience with this company strategic wealth designers. First, they charge you for basic knowledge where if you have been to one of these types of events you already know the information they provide for a fee. Second, all they want is your money to tie it up for years under (safety net) language. They use subtle fear-based tactics to convince you to give them control of your money. They say they use a wholistic approach, but they don't ( i have recorded proof of this fact). My advice is before you send off your dollars to someone else to manage them (for a fee) make sure you know and understand what you're doing. once you give away positive control of your money, you can't easily get it back. if you do need an advisor, try to ask friends family for recommendations, look online for complaints, the BBB rates them ok, but BBB might not be fully aware of a deeper problem which i suspect.Strategic Wealth Designers

Just prior to retiring, my wife and I attended SWD’s Retirement Planning University with Jordan S as our instructor. This was a two-evening interactive educational seminar that covered the complete scope of retirement planning – e.g. taxes, income planning, Medicare, Social Security, estate planning, etc. We followed up with a 1:1 strategy session with Jordan to review our current assets, goals, and retirement strategy. It was very clear afterwards that we were heading in the wrong direction and after 30 years of using the same investment firm, switched to SWD. SWD uses a comprehensive holistic approach to retirement planning, providing experts focused on all our needs. For example, Jennifer L (Medicare Specialist) provided step by step guidance in helping us find and sign-up for the right Medicare Supplement and Prescription plans. We have complete trust in SWD.
