We had a very bad over all experience with this company strategic wealth designers. First, they charge you for basic knowledge where if you have been to one of these types of events you already know the information they provide for a fee. Second, all they want is your money to tie it up for years under (safety net) language. They use subtle fear-based tactics to convince you to give them control of your money. They say they use a wholistic approach, but they don't ( i have recorded proof of this fact). My advice is before you send off your dollars to someone else to manage them (for a fee) make sure you know and understand what you're doing. once you give away positive control of your money, you can't easily get it back. if you do need an advisor, try to ask friends family for recommendations, look online for complaints, the BBB rates them ok, but BBB might not be fully aware of a deeper problem which i suspect.

Just prior to retiring, my wife and I attended SWD’s Retirement Planning University with Jordan S as our instructor. This was a two-evening interactive educational seminar that covered the complete scope of retirement planning – e.g. taxes, income planning, Medicare, Social Security, estate planning, etc. We followed up with a 1:1 strategy session with Jordan to review our current assets, goals, and retirement strategy. It’s been a daunting task to prepare for retirement. It’s frightening. Even picking out Medicare is so confusing. SWD has helped me get my financial ducks in a row and held my hand when signing up for Medicare. If I haven’t liked the choices for my best good, they have come up with alternatives that I am more comfortable with. I am glad I chose them. There are a lot of moving parts in retiring and I feel safe with SWD helping me.

My husband and I are business owners. We know how to make money. Knowing how to design a retirement plan was foreign to us. Most financial advisors focus only on investing. Phillis P******* took the time to explain wealth distribution options during retirement, much of which is determined by decisions we make now. She gave us a much bigger picture with more options than we had previously considered. You don't know what you don't know... Highly recommend taking one of her classes and/or sitting down for a free consultation. We did both, and glad we did!
