I have had nothing but issues when it comes to this company. I filed a claim for my sofa and loveseat. First off filing a claim with them isn't as easy as it should be. once I filed the claim in February they sent a technician out on April 2nd to come look at the furniture. The technician sent everything to back to Guardian. They approved my loveseat but denied my sofa because I didn't word anything properly and told me to refile. So I did refile only for them to deny the claim because it's past the 30 days since damage.Guardian Protection Products, Inc

1 starBought this protection plan for my furniture at ***** Furniture (2021) because it was offered at the store as it will cover my dinning room set and sofa set from damages and even get clean up when i requested. The bottom of my dinning table fell and I sent pictures as they requested and the claim was denied. I ask to have my sofa clean, sent pictures and the claim was denied. The bench from the dining table has a loose screw, sent a picture a the claim was also denied. All of the "damages" were not intentional but things that happen with time and use and even though they warranty still active they would not fix anything. I don't recommend anyone to buy furniture from *************** and if you do, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BUYING THE FIVE(5)YEAR WARRANTY. Guardian Protection will take weeks to over your claim and would say anything just to denied any claim. Buying this so call "protection plan" is a SCAM!!!!Again ***** Furniture and Guardian Protection both have a scam to offer you a service they are never going to provide. If I could post pictures here, I would.Review fromShari H

They are a joke. Don't expect anything from them. I made a claim over 30 days ago. They just keep sending a generic email saying they're working on it. You cant ever talk to a person. NOTHING GETS RESOLVED. So we are sitting with damaged furniture and they do nothing. We bought the Guardian protection plan.Guardian Protection Products, Inc

5 starsThe process was incredibly easy, we were able to call, file a claim and they had a repair guy sent out within a week. Our couch frame had given out just from normal use and the repair man was able to almost completely rebuild it that day. I was throughly impressed with the performance of everyone involved and the turn around time.Review fromRebecca O

1 starYou call to check on a claim they hang up on you. They don’t update correct contact information. They don’t have alternate methods of communications.Review fromSarah B

1 starMade a claim on my dining table and bench. They got back to me to send more pictures which I did. Then denied my claims saying it wasn’t covered. I sent back the info underlined where it said it would be covered and they never got back to me. Horrible customer service and false advertising for protection plan. If I would have known this would happen I would have never paid the extra money. What a waste of time and money.Review fromAviva S

1 starI would honestly leave 0 stars if I could. I have purchased multiple products through Rooms to Go and worh these products I always bought warranty. The warranty we bought was through Guardian Protection Products INC. We have had to file a few claims to get some furniture repaired. Every claim we have filed has been denied. It seems as though Guardian tries to find any and every flaw in your claim to ensure they get out of helping cover a repair. When we purchased the warranty the sales rep stated this warranty will give peace of mind, but it never has. We have never had anything fixed and this warranty company seems like the biggest scam I've ever experienced. Our recent issue was with an end table. We were taking it to our building which is at our house and we knocked it over causing some damages to the corner. When we filed the claim we told them this and it was denied because they said furniture in transit is not covered. I asked them what they meant by in transit and they stated on the phone that in transit means moving from one address to another. We were not moving from one address to the other it was at the same address. We were removing the carpet in our home and we had to take all the furniture and put it in the building, which is connected to our home. Also no where on the warranty does it say it would not be covered. It shows that the the warranty will not cover damages to moving into and out of storage or moving between residences. None of which apply to my situation. I will never buy this warrant again or reccomend it to anyone else.Review fromTerresa s

1 starIf I could give 0 or negative stars, I would. This has been a very disappointing experience. In Oct, 2020, I purchased a formal dining room set and a 5-year $429.95 Guardian Protection Plan. My understanding was that it would cover everything. Since this is a formal dining room set, my family doesn't even use it much. Approximately 2 years ago, a strip on the end of the table started peeling. As people sat there and snagged it, the peeling became worse. I submitted a claim only for it to be denied with the following explanation: "The Terms of your plan specific that damages must be linked to a specific incident to be eligible for coverage, therefore, this damage claims is ineligible for service as it could not be attributed to an accident". After receiving the denial email, I called the customer service number. It took 1 hour to get a hold of someone. After he took my information, he said he was transferring me to another department, but it sounded like I was placed back into the original holding position. I finally gave up. (Also, I had called earlier that week and fell for the message that said they would hold my place in line and call me back. I did not receive a call back). After the unsuccessful phone call, I sent an email asking them to reopen the case. I have received no reply. Based on the number of negative reviews, I am convinced this is a SCAM! Please don't fall for it. I regret that I did. Very disappointing.Review fromJason O

1 starLike many of the other reviews, my claim was turned down. After an ice storm we had left for the day. During this time our three dogs escaped their area and had a field day on our couch. We had mud and pee mainly. Well I remembered we paid almost a thousand dollars to protect this couch from something just like this. I submitted a claim going into great detail of what I said above. There being no actual damage to the couch just dirt. Took and submitted about 20 pictures and then waited. I get an email more than a week later stating they have turned down my claim because they consider it normal wear and tear. I sent another email asking questions about this but as of today, 2 weeks later, no one had reached out to me. After reading the other complaints here, I am SHOCKED that they are even a member of the BBB still. This seems to be their MO and apparently reject ANY claim they receive. I will also be filing a complaint with **** *** who allows this scam to continue.
