I attached my full complaint to a PDF as it was too detailed to fit here. I purchased a brand new Honda Accord from Watermark Honda in Paducah, Ky on March 17th, 2021. I only bought this car from this dealership because of the Lifetime Warranty. In my job I am going to be driving 35,000 to 50,000 miles per year and I needed some security especially with a 6 year car payment. I was very upfront with the finance manager about this and he said that it was perfect for me. My ** **** *** ******** was in the office the whole time during this conversation. Sometime around the end of April, my miles started getting up there so I called and spoke with the service manager and asked about the Lifetime Warranty and told him I drive a lot of miles and that the car was showing 50% oil life left and he said that I didn’t need to worry about it because Honda cars were so smart that they can determine when there is a need for an oil change and because I am driving so many interstate miles that I will get more miles on the system than what is typical. He told me to go online and schedule the oil change once I get down to around 10% life left in the oil, which is displayed on my dashboard. • At no point in time during this conversation did he mention the mileage grace period, etc. On 5-18-2021 I scheduled my 1st oil change online and the first time I could get in was Monday June 7th. I travel Monday afternoons through Thursday night so my oil changes can only be on Monday mornings or on Fridays. Notice that the first available oil change was 20 days from the day I schedule it. Which put tons of extra miles on my car vs the time that I tried to get the oil change. • On 5-23 my Warranty Forever Maintenance Reminder came to my email to remind me. Notice I had beat even their remind in scheduling my oil change 5 days earlier. I attached my full complaint in a PDF as all the details would not fit here.
