I gave a deposit of $900.00 in January of 2022. In March of 2022 . A week before training started. I was informed the remaining agreed upon balance would be due in cash or cashiers check upon arrival in owners name instead of dent perfect pdr school. Which made me uncomfortable. And I would not receive tax info needed to file my taxes for attending this training course . was also told different stories about what I would learn from ******. I took off work for this. Now I will have to find another training class. And start all over again. I also wanted to resolve this personally. But I got no replies .

Mr ******** sent me a 900.00 deposit on Jan 17 2022. This was to hold March 23-30. I own a Paintless Dent Repair School. Dent Perfect. My class is for 8 days. I am always booked for several weeks, or months out. The 900.00 deposit is to secure a certain spot only. He texted me about a week before training and said, he could not find anyone to keep his dog. He asked me if the hotel allowed pets, i said yes. I also said he could bring his dog to my shop while we were training, so we both agreed to this. My training includes tools and motel, most people come from several hours away. Then two days before he was to come, he sent me a text and said he could do 4 days not 8. I understand things happen, so we agreed to a price for the four days. Then the day before training he sent me a text with all the things i teach, and asked if we would learn all of this. Anyone should know you cant learn in 4 days compared to 8. Then he sent me a text saying in his own words NO-GO. I tried calling and texting no answer. I told him to bring a cashiers check, he asked if he could bring cash, i said yes, and i would give him a receipt . So he was a complete no show, i lost the entire amount, because i only train one person at a time. Thank You ****** ****** ****** Trainer Dent Perfect

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      Regards,

***** *******. I was told two Different stories about what I would learn. Then the week before class was to start. He said he would only take cash or cashiers check because someone has cancelled a check on him before and that it won’t happen again period.  I decided I would not give cash. I also have to have tax Id  information. As I own a business. I am required to send a 1099 at year end to anyone who I paid for services of $600 or over. He refused to give me thAt information. As a business he should know these laws. Also he wanted cashiers check is his personal name. Instead of to dent perfect. I will now be attending a more accredited school with much more research. Way to many red flags for me. I also took off work a work for this. I believe dent perfect should re evaluate some business techniques before people spend such money . Like a contract. What is guaranteed. I didn’t receive anything
