I purchased a 2003 Ford Taurus from BB's Auto Sales for $5995 on 6/18/2024. About a week later the check engine light came on in the car so I had it scanned at a few different locations, all saying it was a catalytic converter code. I call BB's Auto Sales and tell them about my situation, they tell me to drive to their location and they'll scan the vehicle. So I got there and the employee is telling me it's just a gas cap code. Worrying about my purchase I took the car to ******* **** ****** ** *** **** *** ********** ** ***** on 6/25/2024. They tell me the car has a long list of problems I attached pictures of the diagnosis. The same day I call **** at BB's Auto Sales at the location in Lafayette at 6401 Johnston St. and explain my frustration. He tells me that he can have one of his shops work on it to fix the problems and tells me to text him the diagnosis, I attached photos of the texts. He doesn't respond at all until I call him 7/18/2024. He tells me he can fix the problems with the car and I wouldn't have to pay for it because I caught the issues right after buying it. I drop my car off 7/22/2024 he takes it to the shop. I was not able to pick up my car until 7/31/2024 and when I go to pick it up I find out they only fixed $200 worth of work to my car. Only fixing two of the cheapest and easiest problems with the car and BB's Auto Sales charged me $100 50% of the cost of the work to my car. My car was gone for a week and a half, I spent more than $200 in uber rides getting to work while my car was gone and they did about half a days worth of work. I attached pictures of the work they did to my car. I would like them to buy the car back for what I had paid for it seeing as they sold me a lemon and failed to fix the vehicle.

********** ******** purchased a 2003 Ford Taurus on 6-18-24. We offer a 30 Day/1000 mile warranty(whichever occurs first) as clearly stated on the bill of sale and buyers guide. He claimed the check engine light came on and brought in the vehicle to us on 7-22-24 to get checked out.  Even though the warranty had just expired, we brought it to ****** **** ******** He checked the vehicle and corrected the problems found(see attached invoices). We still honored the warranty and only charged him half. Once the car was ready and customer was notified, it took him 2 days to come pickup

Began purchasing the car around March 3, 2023. Took it for a short ride, a little ways down the road from B.B's around Walmart. Turned around at Lowe's and came back to B.B.'s. I was only doing speeds anywhere between 35-45 mph. I noticed the rear end bounced a little bit and it shook a little bit. A conversation between the owner of B.B's and his mechanic from Floyd's occurred. The owner's response to Floyd was "I'm trying to make a profit on the car." At first, I thought it was imbalanced wheels. I purchased the car. The purchase includes a 50/50 warranty for 30 days or 1,000 miles, which ever occurs first. The only problem I noticed initially was a shake so I went to Walmart and got the wheels balanced. Can't remember the exact date. The shake was still there. I talked to Floyd, who is the mechanic for this dealership and owner of Floyd's Boulevard Station in Abbeville. He offered a brief opinion of what he thought it might be and I agreed. The opinion was an axel problem. I was asked to come to Floyd's station to drop my car off early in the morning where it was supposed to have been repaired. After he test drove it, he said the car still shakes. I did not see the installation of the axel and the car still shook when I picked it up. He said there was still something wrong with it and put it back together and let me go home. I went back and forth 5 or 6 times to have axel work done. I was not charged. They requested I go back to look at the axel again on March 21, 2023. At this point, I was tired of no resolution and did not go back. I am concerned about going over mileage before the warranty becomes void.

I, Arnold Trahan, owner of BB Auto Sale have been in business for 57 years. Our aim is to keep all customers Happy. We offer a 50/50 warranty for 30 days or 1000 miles, whichever occurs 1st. We will honor this as best we can. Mr. *** is an impatient man. We sent him to Floyd's Service Station who does most of our work. He picked up vehicle before it was complete. We had to order parts to complete job.
