My Dr ordered to have a wound care nurse come chang the dressing on the foot that had toes amputated three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). They have been coming twice a week picking their own days. In addition, some of the nurses don't know what medication to use even though it is noted in the order. This is making my foot take longer to heal. I need to know why this is happening.

This company neglected to order medical supplies ordered by my doctor. They were in controlled over the supplies and refused to order them in a timely manner. The nurse was saying items were not on the orders when they were. A lab swap collected in April was never submitted and I had several bacterial infections on my leg. My doctor was reviewing labs results from an older test rather than the one collected in April. I was hospitalized for ten days and they could have put me on a care plan if they had the correct results. The company has discharged me and promised to provide me with two weeks of medical supplies when I have not received. I need to receive the supplies.

This is a former complaint that was already handled back in July. Amedisys spoke to the family, the patient was discharged from our service and supplies were ordered on July 26 and the final supply order was delivered to the patient/family on July 27 as confirmed by FedEx tracking.

I am rejecting this response because the company promised three weeks of supplies and did not provide the promised number of supplies. They only provided two weeks of supplies and left me without home health services.  I am requesting a week of ABD Pads that Ms. ****** promised she would ship out.

      Sincerely,
