I’ve been a loyal customer to this veterinarian office for the past nine years. All four of my pets get their annual care at this Vet’s Office and any other care that is needed for their health. I recently took a trip and left them to be boarded for nine days. I have always use them as a place of boarding for my animals. When I picked up my animals, one of my cats had an eye that was leaking clear discharge. His eye obviously has been cut by something. My dog has a swollen foot with bloody scabs on it and two bloody scabs on each front leg. My animals did not go with any wounds on them prior to the Vet’s Office. They occurred these wounds while in the Vets care of staff. I called and filed a complaint with the vet to address his staff. But I think the community should know that my pets were abused while in their care and the staff did not communicate that with the vet or myself. I found these issues with my pets when I got home with my pets. The staff also did not feed my pets, because I came home with almost the same amount of food that I dropped off my pets with. My pets were abuse physically and staved for nine days. I hope the vet does something with his staff because they should be shut down for abusing animals.

I did speak to the owner, and she complained about the pet`s experience while boarding. The dog`s foot was possibly swollen due to being shaved for anesthesia and started licking the shaved area. The cat was boarded by himself and there was no abuse that occurred while under our care. We stock our own food, prescription and over the counter science diet food. The cat was on a prescription diet that we pulled from our own stock and was fed every day. I checked on the animals every day before I leave to make sure there's food, water and needs are meet while under my supervision at the clinic. I have been practicing veterinary medicine for 44 years and have never once been accused of starving or abusing any animals. When I spoke to the owner, I told her if the two animals need medical attention to bring them in for free and I would address any treatments needed. She said the animals were fine and did not need further care.

The veterinarians comment is incorrect. My dog did have a teeth cleaning procedure done while she was under the care of the vet. My dog has two large scabs behind her front legs. Her back right paw is all bruised and swollen. This did not happen due to the procedure that was done to her teeth and where they put her anesthesia. My cat came home with a half closed eye that was leaking clear discharge. I did not take Vets for free care because I do not want Vets to touch my animals again. There is lack of communication in his office with staff. And as for the starvation comment, I am correct by saying that my animals came back with almost the same amount of food that I left them for boarding. The vet claims that they fed my animals their own food supply, but not all my animals eat hill science diet that the vet offers. So I am not believing that they fed my animals properly while under their boarding care. I have attached pictures of what my animals look like when they came back from the vet and they did not go in looking like that.
