      July 3rd, the initial request for 60’ of wooden fence for total cost of $1,680 was requested, with a quote of 3 to 4 weeks to complete. I gave a cushion of 6 weeks, and expected the work to be done by then. July 5th, half of the total, $840 was paid via Zelle to the owner of the firm, ******* and he advised he purchased the material. On August 4th, I texted ******* to ask when he came to install the 60’ if he could look at the other 60’ he installed a few months back, because a few boards were warping. He confirmed he would look at them. Checked with ******* on September 13th for an update. He advised he would get back to me. On October 20th, I reached out to ******* and requested a full refund. He stated he would be home the following week and can return the material and confirmed the refund amount. I followed up with ******* on December 5th for an update of refund and he stated he forgot. I followed up on December 11th and he advised he was expecting some checks to clear the next week and he would refund my money. This was my last response I received from *******. I attempted following up on January 12th, Feb 2nd (texted and left voicemail) and Feb 8th with no response from *******. I e-mailed the firm via their website and have not received a response.

      Sept 2023 - paid $4000 deposit to PG, for half of the fence quote - Feb. 2024 - not worked started on fence - asked multiple times for refund - excuse after excuse - and no refund - no attempt on his part to make right ! We are also filing a felony theft report as of now.

      In Jan,2023 an accident occurred which caused my fence to be broken and fall down. With the help of the insurance company we found Lafayette Fence Company to put up a new black chain link fence and to make repairs to the existing black iron fence. ******* ******** assured me that he could and would get this done in a months time. I paid ******* ******** $2257.01 in February, 2023 and it is now December,2023 and the fence is still not up. I contacted him constantly to get the work/fence completed and he constantly gave excuses after excuses as to why it wasn’t done. I contacted ******* ******** for a refund of my money twice and twice he said he would refund me and I still have not been refunded. What I am requesting from ******* ******** is a refund of my money.

      I hired this company to replace the fence on our property. Patrick Guillory came to my house and gave me a price for the job on 7/17/2023. He stated he needed half of the cost of the job up front, and I gave him a check for $5000. He deposited my check the next day. He told me he would get started on the job in early September. He sent an email detailing our agreement and stating the same start date. As the date approached, he sent texts to me telling me about a serious illness of his daughter and stating that my job would be delayed in starting. I told him I understood and was sorry for his trouble and that I was praying for his family. Delay after delay continued. I finally realized he was not going to do the job. On 11/18/2023 I texted him that I do not want to wait any longer for this delayed work to be done and to cancel the plan to replace my fence and to refund my $5000. He stated he would get the check to me the following week. After repeated delays of getting my money returned, he has still not done so as of today, 12/4/2023. I need your help in recovering these funds. I have hired another company to do this job, and I need these funds to pay for the job to be done.

      We hired Patrick in August 2023 to put up a fence for us.he gave us a price and we agreed. We had to give a deposit and we did.He said it would take a few weeks before he could get to us and we were ok with that. He did do a some work and then asked for another deposit. Well I wasn’t sure about him at that time. He didn’t do enough for the money we paid him. We had some of his tools here so we started put up our fence. We ended up putting up 120 feet of fence ourselves. That is uncalled for. We at this point had given him 9,200. Then he called and wanted another deposit and I said no. He said because of the time frame he needed more money and I told him that I would pay for the materials myself. So I did he really never did anything more after that. We hired another company to do our gates at a cost of $1,500. I just want $2,000 back for what he didn’t do and a refund on the gate money we had to pay. And I want the public to know not to hire him. He works by himself, has no workers to help him. We are senior citizens and us having to put up our fence is uncalled for. He has our money and didn’t do the job. Just beware of Lafayette Fence LLC.

      I contacted Lafayette Fence in late May, 2023, for a quote for a metal pool type fence. Patrick ******** (owner) came to our house on 5/29/2023 to discuss our needs, measure the area, & give us an estimate. Although he did not provide a written estimate at that time because of a problem with his tablet, the price he quoted was $9200. As he requested, on 5/29/23 I gave ******** a check for $4600 for half of the job so he could order materials with the understanding that our fence would be completed within three to four weeks. After waiting for over a month for a copy of the estimate & a completion date I began calling, texting, & emailing. There was ALWAYS an excuse - jobs backed up, weather too hot, personal problems, illness, family vacation, etc. After multiple attempts to get the job moving I contacted ******** last month & advised him that after waiting four months we needed to move on & that I wanted a refund of my $4600 deposit. There have been multiple promises from ******** that the refund was on the way but so far NO MONEY! This is bad business & I cannot afford to lose that amount of money. Please help!

      On 12/02/2022 we were invoiced $3,932.00 by Patrick ******** owner of Lafayette Fence Company based on a quote he gave us to replace the fence at the home of our mother who was bed ridden in hospice care. He required one half down payment at that time and we wrote him a check for $1,966.00. ******** told us that work could possibly begin mid January 2023. This never happened. On 01/25/2023, even though no work had begun on the fence, ******** arrived at our mother’s house and requested another payment to cover the remaining balance on the invoice. We wrote him another check for $1,966.00. Many more weeks of excuses and stalling by ******** followed. In the second week of March, he arrived and tore down the fence hauling away some sections but leaving a few sections of fence in a pile in the middle of my mother’s yard, rotted wood and exposed rusted nails for nearly six weeks. My mother’s yard and her two adjoining neighbors’ yards were now exposed to each other. At some point in early April, ******** returned with his auger and drilled one or two holes before the auger broke. He assured me he would rent an auger and return the next day to continue working. The auger drill bit was left on the ground between my mother’s and her neighbor’s yards for an entire day and night until he returned to drill more holes. He never came back after drilling the holes. He left ankle high construction marking string for many weeks subjecting my mother to liability for injury to others; a neighbors swimming pool was exposed to possible liability, and open auger holes several feet deep were another source of potential harm and liability. We fired Patrick ******** on 04/19/2023. He immediately responded and said he would return to us the entire amount we paid him. Many more empty promises and excuses followed for weeks and months, and we never received any refund. We had to contract with another fence company to complete the project which required another large cash outlay.

      On March 6, 2023 an agreement was reached to build a 140 foot fence with this firm. I was told there would be a 4 week wait before they could start. After numerous phone calls and text messages I finally gave them an ultimatum - finish the fence by May 26th or return my deposit of $2,500.00. I was assured there was no problem if they could meet my expectation the owner would personally return my deposit. On the afternoon of May 25th I received a text from the owner that they would be at my house the next day. In view of the fact that it was impossible for them to finish this job as I had stipulated I informed him it was too late and that I wanted my deposit back. Since then I have received numerous ""run around" from this fellow - the last one was that he he would bring my refund on Monday July 10th.. At this writing I still have not heard or received my deposit.

      ******* ******** and I initially communicated on February 4, 2023. We agreed on a price for fence work to be done and I paid him $1000 deposit. At the time, he said he could start in 2-3 weeks. On March 19, I reached out and asked for a price to add on to fence work to be done. (He had not started on the original work agreed upon.) i then paid an additional $500 to him, totaling $1500. Contacted him again April 10 to see a timeframe for him to do the work. He stated, “will be there either late this week or 1st thing next week.” May 20, I texted him saying that if he couldn’t do the fence work by the end of the month, I needed to move on. He said he would make it happen. It did not. June 1 I asked for a refund of $1500. He said he understood and would get my money back. ******* has continued to be dishonest, make numerous empty promises and has yet to return my $1500 Including today; he stated that he would bring my money after lunch, after I made a phone call to him.
