On Oct 26th, 2021, I went to the Great American RV located in Defuniak Springs Fl. I decided to purchase a Class C RV from them at which time a $1000.00 cash deposit was given to the salesman to secure the RV. The salesman's name was ********. We had scheduled a date for me to pick up the RV. I needed to reschedule the date due to some medical appts. I called the dealership several times and after being put on hold multiple times and getting sent to voicemail several times. Due to the poor customer service, I decided not to do business with this dealership. I called the dealership again receiving yet another voicemail. At that time, I left a voice message stating I did not want to do business with them. I started receiving texts messages from ******** and ***** the sales manager asking if I was still going to purchase the RV. I spoke to ******** about the poor customer service and told him I decided to purchase one at a local dealership. During our texting ******** did mention refunding my deposit. After not receiving my deposit back I texted ******** on Nov 17th, 2021, at 1:25 PM asking the status on my deposit refund. He responded back "I will check". He never responded back after that. On Dec 2nd, 2021, at 10:20 AM I texted the sales manager ***** asking the status on my deposit refund. He responded back "let me go check". He never responded back after that. I am not sure what date it was, but I decided to call the Hammond LA store and spoke to their customer service. The reason I called the Hammond LA store is because their website said that this store was the headquarters. I spoke to a female and explained the situation to her. She checked to see if a refund was in the system for me, but one was not located. She stated that she would process the refund for me, and I would receive it in a few weeks. Several weeks have passed and I have not received the refund as of Jan 29th, 2022.

I purchased an RV in June of 2021 from Great American RV DeFuniak Springs. The following week I took a shakedown trip and found the shower leaking. The following week I took the camper back to the Dealer and the leak was repaired; however, the technician had to cut a hole in a portion of the paneling to have access to the shower. To complete the repair, the technician put a small patch over the access hole. The service writer and the technician both told me they would order a replacement panel and would call me when they received it from the manufacturer. Since then I had to have other repair work done on the camper, which was not completed properly. I had to make the repairs myself. I have worked with every service writer at DeFuniak since June 2021 and everyone of them lied to me about the panel. I found out that last October the panel was finally order from Grand Design and that it had been received. I was promised that it would be shipped to me. I still don't have it. Just lies on top of lies. I have complained to customer service and received no help there. I have tried to reach someone on the executive staff but they are in hiding. I have not found anyone willing to tell the truth, make the repair, or send the panel to me, so I can make the repair.

We purchased a 2015 DRV Mobile Suits from Great American RV Superstore in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana On November 9, 2021. We were told the hide-a-bed couch needed to be replaced. Their excuse was they can't find one. We found one on the internet and it will be delivered to our home next week. Quite obviously the dealer is more interested in profits than customer satisfaction. We feel the dealer should reimburse us the $1000 we had to spend for a new hide-a-bed couch.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/23) */ Contact Name and Title: ******* ****** Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: *******@garv.net Great American RV has spoken with the customer and requested a receipt for the sofa that had to be purchased following the sale of the RV. We will be reimbursing the customer the amount paid for the item. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/11/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) We also requested this rv dealer to reimburse us $1300 we had to spend to replace the original 8 year old tires, but our request was denied. Having them pay for the couch will have to suffice.
