As a result of damage to my home by hurricane ***, I contracted with River City Roofing to make repairs paid for and authorized by my insurance company. River City Roofing subcontracted the **** replacement to ****'s AC and Heating Services, LLC to install a 4 ton air conditioning unit at a cost of $19,668.00. The actual outside unit installed is a 3.5 ton unit. A prospective buyer informed of the fact that the unit was not a 4 ton unit 9/7/2023. I contacted River City Roofing who spoke with ****'s AC and was told the unit is a 4 ton unit. On 9/8/2023 I took pictures of the label on the unit noting the product number which indicates the size of the unit. I forwarded this to my contractor who in turn forwarded it to ****'s AC. I called the office of ****'s AC on 9/11/2023 to seek resolution and was told to calll the owner. I called and left a message but did not get a return call. On 9/12/2023 I called again and **** answered I told him wha the issue was and his response was that he installed the correct size for the house. I replied that I did not get what I paid for and asked what did he intend to do. ************ hung up the phone on me. The cost of 4 ton unit as opposed to 3.5 ton unit is considerably more and this company should not be allowed to promise a consumer a product and get paid for the product but not deliver.

On September 14th, 2021 after Hurricane *** passed through our area, I contacted H**36363137383431**H along with three other A/C companies to come out and give me a quote for a new A/C unit. Due to the fact that the hurricane blew my outside unit completely off its slab. I received quotes from the two other companies, but Lane&#**;s did not send me anything or contact me about anything. I understand the chaos that was going on at that time in our area. So I went with one of the other companies that replied to my request and had my unit replaced. Several months later, H**36363137383431**H called me via cell phone, and asked if I still needed my unit replaced. I explained to them that they never sent me any info, so I went with another company. Week after that, they sent me a bill for ***** for a service charge. No service or work was performed at my home. I tried multiple times to call, go into their office to speak to ************, with no luck. He will not return my calls or he seems to never be there when I go. I will not pay an invoice for no work done at my home. They continue to send me this invoice after I have explained to the women in the office that I want to speak to the owner so that he can explain to me why he is charging me for no work that was performed.
