1 starCompany believe that harassing clients is their best way to get anything, no understanding, no response to emails to try to work out things with company, they just want to threaten and make false claims and up bill $4000 to cover their costs. 1 starThis company not only started calling my company to take care of a debt that we were paying, but due to medical reasons needed extensions, andCompany was beyond, rude and harassing, and have no ethics. ******* ******** is one of the most ignorant people that work for this company but should be fired immediately for having no character or integrity.Review fromChristina P

1 starWe were contacted by a ******* first from this company regarding a debt from our hardware distributor that got bought out by a bigger, better company. We were on payment arrangements with the hardware distributor, arrangements in a contract their company account manager drafted. But Altus was told we were in default and we owed some ridiculous amount. When we spoke to ******* and sent him the contract and our bank records proving the company was taking ACH drafts weekly and we in fact were not in default, we offered to continue making payments and honoring the contract they put in place, he said ok I will consult with the company and get back to you. Then came back with this is what they say you owe, so you can pay it in full or we will seek legal action, so we said that's fine we have all of our receipts!! Didn't hear a peep for a month, until last Friday a new person named **** contacted us with a different amount and zero customer service skills, we sent her all the same stuff and she again came back with pay this amount or we will seek legal action. We showed our attorney the "law firm" they are threatening to send us to...Leviton Law firm...they have even worse reviews than these people do. Horrible company period.Review fromjaspal s

And we check with actual company and they said we never hire them for collection, They are full of scam just beware of them. One of ****************** rep. came over to our business place at a mall last year. He offered that our business would save money while using their system/device comparing SQUARE. We definitely told him our English was so basic and we were NOT INTERESTED if there is a cancellation fee/penalty or contract. He said anytime free cancellation. Even if we cannot save a money.. we are free to not use them. And we were informed that we were signing just for opening an account. However, it was a contract.. 4 four years contract with **************. Basically we were disputed already 3 times; Because, We even got charged more than SQUARE. (Plus paying for Clover device $14.95 and Finova $45 and plus tax!!!. We provided our CERTIFICATE of AUTHORITY. SQUARE no monthly/Device fee) Also we never informed related CPI fees every month $75. Also clover wasn't working with mall internet. So we have to buy an internet. (SQUARE is WORKING). Clover device was voiding transactions by itself a couple times and no solution. Loosing here, too. One of manager was playing with words and instead of having a solution. Even though we were providing her absolutely not saving money, she was threatening us with cancellation fee: $695. She made us waste a lot of time/energy to convince her that we were not saving money. Since she couldn't provide a way for saving, she finally accepted to cancel that horrible service. But this time she started mentioning a cancellation fee with FINOVA. She said we signed a contract with $5k cancellation fee. ( But Finova rep. said it is about $1800.) We have explained them everything.****** still tries to take money from us. I have received an email from ALTUS RECEIVABLES asking $1585 for something disputes. While using SQUARE in a better rate, no monthly/device fees and no STUPIDLY 4 years contract/no cancellation fee, why we need to accept that Finova contract. So all in all that company and their rep. scamming small businesses. That claim is NOT VALID.

This company has been harassing me with phone calls and emails . They help their clients , ********** , to collect my money for what I already canceled the service with Zoom the first month when they supposed to run my ads but they did t and they claimed they did with random pictures / musics doesnt fit my ads that I requested them to run. 1 starThey dont do their homework before trying to perform a collection for an outstanding debt they bought from another company.The other company didnt vet their information before selling the debt to Altus Receivables. So if youre being hounded for something youre not an affiliation to, you may need to seek legal counsel.
