      The roofing contractor ordered the wrong fascia, and when he went to drop it off at my house, I told him that it was wrong. After a brief argument, he has offered to get the right one made up, but is trying to get me to pay an additional $600.00 to get it. I have told him repeatedly that, "I will not pay for someone else's mistake..." This employee (***********************) went to the owner of the company (***** Eckert) and he too says that I have to pay it, which I continue to refuse to.I wrote a $10,000.00 down payment check check on May 13th, 2022, and Magnolia Roofing had the roofing shingles delivered 2 weeks ago. They are now telling me that I am in "breach of contract" and that they will pick up the delivered roofing products and "see me in court". I have told them that they are welcome to pick up the delivered roofing materials AFTER they refund my $10,000.00 down payment. He (****) made no comment after I said that. The value of the material delivered is about 2/3's of what I have paid already. I fear that either they will try to forcefully pick it up, or just "walk away", leaving me with about a $3,500.00 loss.

      We have handled the complaint with *********************. ***** ******************** was out of town when this misunderstanding between our salesman and ************** happened. When Mr. ******************** came back into town I arranged a meeting between ***** and ***** and that went very well as well.  We will be doing his roof on Tuesday June 27, 2022 provided that there is no rain and the fascia will be corrected at no cost of course to **************. Should you require further information please don't hesitate to notify myself ****************************** or ************ at any time.
