On June 16, 2022 I brought my Husqvarna lawnmower to Avoyelles Outdoors for some repairs because it was using an excessive amount of oil. This machine was purchased on July 15, 2020 and at this time is still under warrenty. On June 16nth, the day I brought the mower to the shop, before loading it on trailer i pulled the dipstick to check engine oil, as normal, the level was down to the add mark as it had been used to cut a lawn. I intentionally did not add any oil so the shop personnel could see the amount that it was using. Upon my arrival to Avoyelles Outdoors I informed the lady behind the counter that the reason for me bringing it in was for the excessive oil consumption and a problem with a belt that kept coming off, which I did not expect to be covered under the warrenty, and told her that I believed the problem with the oil consumption should covered under warrenty given the age of the machine and that if any work was to be done other than the belt problem that was not covered that it was not to be fixed without my approval. I also informed the employee that assisted me with unloading it off the trailer that it was low on oil and i intentionally left it that way so they cpuld see how much oil it was consuming in a 2 hour time. On July 6th i received a call from the owner of avoylles outdoors. He informed me that the work he had done was not covered under warrenty as there was water in oil which caused the problem. The water that is indeed now in the oil got in the engine while at Avoyelles Outdoors. At my home it stays in a garage and has never been washed with water. On July 7nth I go to pick up my mower. Upon inspection, and after paying my bill for flushing the water out of motor, it still had water in it. Owner instructs me to leave machine there. On July 8th owner calls and tells me he's refunding my money and one get my mower he's washing his hands of it. This business should be held responsible for any and all damages and repairs .
