I purchased a brand new Frigidaire refrigerator in October of 2021 and it went out March of this year. I didnt have a warranty, but I reached out to Frigidaire for assistance so they gave me several repair companies info. I then reached out to Superior located in ******** on March 27th. They were very helpful for a technician out to me in a week even though they were backed up. The guy came out diagnosed and said the relay and capacitor had gone out. He ordered the parts and we had to wait about a week for them to come in after getting the parts he came back out to install them. He came about 8:00 AM that morning on April 6th replaced it and said it was good and the parts were working fine, but about 11:00 PM that night the refrigerator was out again. The next time it was hard getting in touch with ********* to inform him what was going on, but he finally made his way back and put on a stronger relay and this time he told me I would probably need a compressor. Had he told me that the first time I would have never paid almost $300 because I didnt have any intentions on replacing the compressor I would have just rather buy a new refrigerator.
