Re: Abominable, **************************** from every level of the organization. 1st Visit/Drop Off Date: Friday, November 22, 2024 Picked Up Date: Monday, December 2, 2024 IMPORTANT NOTE: I was going to use my credit card to pay for services. I was told that they were going to charge me $88+ extra because I was using a credit card. They offered me to have the shuttle driver bring me to the bank to get cash. I accepted the offer. The shuttle driver took me to the bank, waited for ne to complete my transaction, and brought me back to Cadillac of New Orleans. Wow! I would LOVE to know the cost of using the shuttle driver versus waiving the fee for the first time. It seems wasteful to the customer paying a $3500 bill for defective headlights plus having to return multiple times to resolve that issue. 2nd Return Date: Wednesday, December 4, 2024 Technician said he could not fix because 1 connector attached headlights, not multiple connectors, new headlights needed to be ordered; returned vehicle immediately back to me as part had to be ordered 3rd Return Date: Friday, December 6, 2024 FINAL EXPERIENCE INVOKING THIS COMPLAINT ***** ********, THE GENERAL MANAGER HUNG UP ON A CUSTOMER ***** ******, THE SERVICE MANAGER NON-EXISTENT, OBLIVIOUS Other Cadillac of New Orleans Service Issues:****, service representative, gave misinformation i.e. shuttle was coming to pick me up, waited 1 hour then had to get Lyft ride ***** (or ******) took my information when **** was out of the office. I have an issue with the navigation system in my car. I brought the car in at the beginning of August and we are now 4 months out and my issue is still not resolved. I brought in my car about 3 times and they could not figured out what the problem is. I was told that they're going to talk to the shop ******* and that I was suppose to get a call and they were also going to contact General Motors. That has been about 1 months ago and I still never received a call back regarding that either. No one in there has ever called me to give an update on what's going on with my car except for one time. I feel as if I'm being pushed to the side and not being treated fairly as a customer.

Most deceitful and manipulative dealership Ive ever purchased from. I tried to cancel my warranties in August of 2023, but the dealership never submitted paperwork until January 31, 2024. After 5 months of being given the run around, I find out they were NEVER CANCELED! *** emailed, called, and left voicemails several times requesting to speak with the *** but he refuses to call or email me back. Ive been to the dealership in person and he hides behind a desk. They over charge and mark up your warranties without disclosing the contract prices intentionally, and instead sell you on final vehicle monthly payment amount. I have original paperwork showing I did not sign or approve for a mark up of $6,000 that this GM could profit from. The finance managers signature is not on the paperwork either, because he didnt want it disclosed to me!!!! They still will not contact me to make this right. They are crooks, and wont even return my call!

Hello,I purchased a **** Cadillac xt6 from this dealership on October 26. When the paperwork was reviewed, I found that this dealership overcharged me $**** above sticker price. I called them on Monday, October 30 and spoke with *************************. I informed her of this and she became defensive and mentioned that she will have *********** call me. I asked why that was necessary when she was the one manipulating the numbers. She again mentioned that the salesman would call me. Meanwhile, the salesman never called and I called again and spoke with the guy in finance. He basically only read from the paperwork. The employees from this business never mentioned nor said there was going to be a charge over the sticker price. It was never spoken nor discussed. Once I didnt get any response from this team, i consulted Cadillac corporate who agreed to assist, and recently replied that they cannot assist and had me on standby for over a month. I am angry with the unethical and poor integrity that has been displayed by this company. Also, there has never been anyone to follow up to check on me nor inquire on needs. This is poor sales and a huge problem provided the amount of money spent here. I am seeking return of the ******************************************************* regards to the true price of the vehicle.

On May 12, 2023, I purchased a Cadillac from Cadillac of New Orleans. We agreed on a price of $41,000. The salesman presented me with some hand written figures that he claimed would be my monthly payment. The figures he displayed was quite different than what I had calculated so I asked him to show me how he obtains them figures. The salesman left for a few minutes and returned with the business manager, Mr. *************************** who tried to convince me that I was able to afford the monthly payment. After continuously insisting that he show me how he obtained that figure, ******************** went into his office and returned with a sheet of paper that displayed the selling price along with 3 different dealer packages that he had included. I expressed to him that I did not consent to neither of the packages, nor did he ask me. ******************** then told me that there is no way around the $1,295 figure shown because it covers Cadillacs Pre-Owned (***) warranty. I argued that the vehicles listing stated that a 1-year/unlimited mile limited warranty was included and did not mention a fee. Once again, he stated that there was no way around the charge for the *** warranty so I went ahead and purchased the vehicle and warranty. A few days later, while reviewing my online Cadillac Ownership account, I noticed that it listed 5 different warranties that are still active on my vehicle: however, it did not list my *** warranty. I then contacted a Cadillac Customer Assistance representative who acknowledge that she did not see it either. She also stated that the dealership was supposed to give me a written copy also which they did not. Lastly, she mentioned that the dealership was not supposed to charge me for the *** warranty because it is one of the perks you get when you purchase a Certified Pre-owned Cadillac. In conclusion, not only did Cadillac of New Orleans scam me out of $1,295 they are refusing to give me a copy of my *** warranty after I purchased a Certified Pre-owned Cadillac.

    Business Response

    Date: 05/31/2023

************** bought a vehicle was that sold as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.  In all of his dealings with the dealership it was communicated to him.  I have attached proof as to when the sale was reported to Cadillac.  As of that date, it assumed all benefits of Cadillac's CPO Program.  As for copies of he warranty, it was explained thoroughly several times.  It was further communicated that there is no actual paperwork to provide to him.  Much like that of a new car warranty from a manufacturer, the vehicle will assume all of the benefits upon reporting of the sale.

Therefore, ************** will not be receiving any copies of said warranty, nor a refund of $1295.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I do not accept the response made by the business to resolve this complaint because first of all, it is untrue that they communicated several times to me that there was no actual paperwork. The business manager kept consisting that he gave me a copy of the warranty at the time of sale which was also untrue. I have included copies of text messages from the salesperson, ********************************* (aka ***) and I discussing this matter. The warranty was submitted to my Cadillac Owners online account only after I got Cadillac Customer Assistance involved. I was also notified by one of their representatives, that I should have not been charged for the warranty because it is an added perk to consumers who purchase a used Certified Pre-owned vehicle. I have also included a photo of our agreed upon price of the vehicle along with a few add-ons they tried to include without my knowledge or consent. After complaining about the add-ons, the business manager stated that there was no way to get around not paying for the *** Warranty because it comes with the vehicle. He did agree to remove the $1,995 add-on charge stating that it was the only one that could be possibly removed. I assume that this is a common practice for this dealership in order to scam consumers out of thousands of dollars; therefore, I am still requesting to be reimburse for the $1,2995 I was charged for the *** warranty.

    Regards,

We've attempted several times to resolve this matter with Mr. *********** We have exhaustively explained, that there is not any documentation to provide for the *** Warranty.  The sales has been reported to Cadillac and the *** warranty is effective of that date.  We would like to be if further assistance, yet, we have done everything we normally do and have provided a level of service commensurate with the Cadillac Experience.
