I boarded my dogs for the first time on the day of March 3rd through March 6th. Upon drop off, I did warn of possible anxiety of *** (my 6 year old pup). I did NOT receive any calls over the weekend of any issues but when I picked him up Monday morning, the skin on his nose was completely gone and he was covered in blood. They informed me that he was anxious, but nothing was done about it. I spent almost $400 to have my dogs terrified and my *** injured due to the weekend provider not caring about his anxiety. •Transaction total: $382.00 •Incident occurred March 3, 2023-March 6, 2023 •They said he would be taken care of and I’d be contacted if issues occurred: I was not. •They tried to resolve by offering to actually look at the damage, but this was days later and I have already had him treated myself. I refuse to return.

Owner states that patient was covered in blood when she picked up but this statement is inaccurate.  *** had a 1" x 1/8" abrasion across the bridge of his nose due to burying his food with his nose in his towel.  ***'s wound was not due to anxiety and he was evaluated by the veterinarian for his nose.  Owner was contacted and offered free medical care.  The desired settlement of $382 requested with the complaint includes other medical services for *** and another patient.  Good Hope Veterinary Hospital is willing to refund boarding fees associated with the patient during the time period.
