Today,09/15/2024, I did not receive the Sunday newspaper. I have been a subscriber for many, many years and am very dissatisfied with the carriers inability to deliver the newspaper to my residence three times a week. It seems that I am constantly calling the office to report non-delivery. I have been told that the carrier has been with your company for many years. If she has hired someone to help with her route, they are not doing their job. Additionally, I have a paper box attached to my mailbox. The carrier is not using it. The newspaper gets thrown in my driveway instead. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.Business response

District manager ***** spoke to the customer and assured them we were addressing the issues. We currently terminated the old contractor on this route and replaced her thus service should improve significantly here. We have instructed new carrier to place paper in the paper box. If by chance a Sunday paper is missed in the future, a replacement copy will be delivered the following morning. Subscriber has ******* phone number now for any further issues.Initial Complaint

I've been trying to cancel my subscription for a week, the price went up and it's not worth the costs, the views and biased reporting is not a reflection of news but a political machine agenda promoting one political party over another.Business response

The date is 7/7/2024 - SUNDAY PAPER - DID NOT GET TODAY!!!! This is not the first time. I just submitted a complaint a week ago. WHY can't I get my SUNDAY paper??????? This is just too much frustration. Please can't I get my Sunday paper - TODAY - Sunday. I need my Sunday paper delivered today and I also get the paper on Wednesday and Friday. I have been subscribing to the Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate for some time now. I get the paper 3 times a week, Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. I began to NOT RECEIVE my paper the week before 6/16/24 forward. I have not gotten any papers since then. This is ridiculous. I have been getting this for years. AND, the paper is NEVER on my doorstep or even close by. The delivery person just throws it across the way so I'll have to come out (live in an apt. complex) in my socks and pajamas to walk and get it. I really need some help with this. Our New Orleans director spoke with customer on *******. Assured them delivery would improve and he would have manager follow up on delivery for the next few weeks. Delivery has been verified since that date. We also spoke to the customer service department to address communication issues.Initial Complaint

I was charged for the subscription renewal with the times picayune for over $700.00 dollars. The charge was on my credit card on June 19,2024. I immediately attempted to call to cancel the subscription. I have called for several days but all I get is a recording. I have also sent several emails and the only response is that they received the emails. I also filled a form online requesting the cancellation but it will not go through because they do not recognize my account even though they were able to charge me. This is extremely frustrating. I want to cancel and get that charge credited on my credit cardBusiness response

Started last December, we missed several papers and when we complained, it got worse. Two weeks no papers at all. Complained every day. Then we would get a paper off and on. Complained. Then the paper would be dropped in the Street! Cars ran over it. Complained ! We have a large driveway and lawn where it was thrown before. Thats where it should be thrown. The carrier is being immature because we complained and supervisor has not responded!Business response

this is ************************. My I. D. Number is ********. I received a reply from you through the BBB. And so far as I can see, the agreement was the supervisor would speak to the carrier of the newspaper advocate. And refund me $37. So far our paper is still being delivered by the street, which in the past it was always in the driveway or the lawn. My concern is when we have a rain, it is right next to the drain, and it does flood there. So my complaint has not been completely resolved.Business response

We credited the subscriber 1 month. We also have had our Manager in New Orleans, *****************, speak with the contractor about delivering the paper further up the driveway and not as close to the street. Managers have verified that this been occurring.Initial Complaint

I have a subscription to the Times Picayune. The money comes out of my bank account automatically every month. I have not received the paper since February 21, 2024. I go online every day to file a complaint that I did not receive the paper. I have called three times and spoken to three different people, *****, ******, and *****. ***** is a supervisor. I was told she would send a message to the carrier, email the circulation manager and the distribution center. I was told it would be resolved and I would receive a paper. Today is the tenth day I havent received a paper. They keep telling me they will credit my account. But they take my money every month so without delivering a paper, they are stealing my money!Business response

I tried over and over again to cancel my Sunday newspaper subscription. I repeatedly called and I get put on hold only to hear the same recording about the business hours. I did get in touch with the operator but they had to send my order details to someone else to later call me within ***** hours. Well see.Business response
