Incomplete job. I didn't want a leaf removal I just wanted the job done right.Customer response

I had talk to the owner about cutting my yard. I did mention the leaves. He said he would mulch them within 2 weeks. His wife ****** text and let me know they would be coming on Monday the 26, 2024 to cut. Well they were a no show. ****** text to let me know there was a mechanical issue and they would get to my yard that week. They came on Thursday 29, 2024. Showed up at almost dark to cut my grass. I gave the worker my 30 dollars for cut. They left and I went outside to check and the job was not finished. No weed eating, no blowing off the grass from cutting anything. And the grass in some areas was still long. He did not cut the front and the front side of my home. Guess he was in a hurry to get home and I so happened to be the unlucky person that got ripped off with a horrible yard. I hired someone because I had a spinal fusion and I can't do it or any work for that matter. I then texted his wife and I took pictures and I did ask for my 30 dollars so I can hire someone that will do a good job. I then told her thru text I didn't need their services anymore. They also did this to my 2 neighbors that live behind me. She paid him 60 and they didn't finish the job. The owner of the lawn company was on the phone the whole time and another worker was sitting in the truck. Sad that women cannot hire someone decent to take care of our lawns. I feel like all 3 of us got ripped off. So, maybe he will give our money back.

On behalf of Marcantel's Lawn Care LLC, we sincerely apologize to our customer and that she was not happy with our lawn care services that we did provide to her! Currently all of our customers yards that do have trees around their property have a ton of leaves. Leaf clean-ups are one of the services that we do offer, however it is a separate service than our regular lawn maintenance or grass cutting service that we usually do. Our customers yard was originally scheduled for our lawn maintenance(cutting, edging/trimming, & blowing) service on February 26th. However, due to mechanical issues which unfortunately we do encounter in our line of work, we were unable to make it to cut her yard that day. I communicated that information with the customer as soon as I was made aware of the issue and let her know that her yard was then rescheduled for services on February 29th.
This was her third time using us for her lawn maintenance services and we never heard any complaints or issues the two previous times. In response to what the customer stated, "no weed eating, no blowing off the grass from cutting anything. And the grass in some areas was still long", we performed and completed our regular lawn maintenance service of cutting, trimming/edging, and blowing the customer's yard. We're fully refunding the customer her money back for the lawn care services that we did provide.
