    After having hand surgery by Dr. ******** on June 16, 2022, in Shreveport, LA, his office staff provided me with a arm brace/sling that they obtained from Breg Inc., 7925 Youree Drive, Suite 230, Shreveport, LA 71105. Since I am 72 years of age, I have Medicare and AARP health insurance coverage. I received a bill from Breg Inc. for $22.67 on 07/26/2022, statement date 07/19/2022, account #*******. which I promptly paid with check #**** for $22.67. On August 1, 2022, after receiving Medicare routine payment record shortly after paying the check #****, I noticed that Medicare had also paid the $22.67. and I called 1-833-978-0994, the number on Breg Inc. bill and reported the double payment to them. They said that they would refund me the $22.67 once they processed my check. It did not happen. On 8/29/2022 I called 1-833-978-0994 and then 1-866-377-8583 and was told she would notify the "back office" so they would refund the $22.67. It did not happen. On 09/19/2022 I spoke to the local office for Breg Inc. in Shreveport, LA 71105, at 7925 Youree Drive, Suite 230, and spoke to the only employee that works there, ******* ******* #318-798-5583. She said that she would file a refund request but did not know when I would receive it. It did not happen. Are you seeing a pattern yet? I am! I made a number of additional calls on 10/31/2022, 11/11/2022, 11/21/2022, 12/13/2022, as well as on 02/07/2023 to speak to ******* ******. Again nothing happened except she gave me her off-site manager's contact info: ***** ******* #984-528-8028 (Dr. ********'s PA gave me another number for Mr. *******, #760-814-4098), Breg Inc. 2885 Loke Ave. East, Carlesbad, CA 92010. I have talked to Mr. ******* and reported same to him with still no commitment that I will get paid, only that he would talk to his supervisor. The only thing that I have received from my numerous efforts to resolve this issue is lip service. PLEASE HELP ME!! It's not a money thing, it's a principal thing.
