I paid for a service to have my a/c unit repaired in August 2023, the company Mike's A/C repair sent out a technician to repair the unit and stated he would perform a diagnostic. He charged for parts and labor. After paying in full and having the having the parts replaced, I still was without a/c after spending over $3000, to replace coil, coolant, thermostat battery , and and other accessories. Once the technician stated the job was complete , the technician stated the home should start to cool, and after two days I notice the a/c unit did still not work properly to blow cool air from unit. I also had a manufacturer service agreement that includes minor repair, routine maintenance, and coolant service that was purchased at an additional $432. This was paid for to ensure if any other issues occur that I would be covered under the service agreement, this ordeal has been very frustrating and has had been affects on my family level of comfort in the home. I finally spoke to the owner of business only to be told he would have someone take a look at it again in which I did not trust the company to make any other repairs after having back and forth conversations about the until for a year. I did contact a new a/c repair company in 2024, there was a technician dispatched soon as possible and assured he would fix the issue. The service was $500 and the tech fix the issue in no time. The issue was that the first company did not connect the coil to the a/c unit causing no cold air to fluctuate throughout the home. After finally getting in touch with the owner after a year ,the technician said "it was hard to get to coil for the repair ". A/C repair owned by Mike ***** asked " how much did I pay to the company that fix the issue". Mike ***** via phone call stated he would refund me back the $500 via a check to written out to me, that was over 2 weeks ago from today and I haven't been able to reach him since.

This business installed a new heat/air system in our home in June, 2019 under a complete 2 yr. warranty. The man who owned the business told us we should have no problems within 10 yrs. In March of this yr. the problems began - still within the warranty time. The repairmen have been out numerous, trying to fix the problems. A couple of the repairmen indicated that the problem was in the outside unit, and it should be replaced- an apparent "lemon". It has been more than 2 months with no contact with them I have tried numerous times to talk to the owner or a repairman, but no one will talk to me except the guy who answers the phone and he's no help. All he can do is take a message. The last time anyone was here, I was told that the unit was working at 70 per cent capacity. For a system that I paid $6,400 for, I feel like I am entitled to 100 per cent capacity. Don't you? Also, the condenser has moisture collecting on it underneath it. This may have already caused a black mold problem, I am unable to tell. I am 77 years old and can't get underneath it to check. My 82 year old husband has numerous health problems and this would not be good for him. Thank you for whatever help you can give us to solve this problem.

I had to turn the air conditioning on day before yesterday; all seemed to go well. No dripping water or condensation. So far now, you should be able to close out this file. THANKS again for all the BBB's help.
