The company completed a roofing job in 2006 under a 30-year contract. The roof started to leak months (or longer time) ago, and the leaking got much worse recently.. We have being working with the company for a month, and agreed to pay an additional money for their help to fix the roof. They lastly agreed to get the job done early last week, but they did not come. Meanwhile, the leaking got worse and have caused more & more damages. In expecting the coming heavy rain, we called them again and again but got no response. This is now an emergency, and we'd very much appreciate your help to contact the company,

The roofing work was contracted for almost a year ago, in January 2023 and has still not been commenced, despite repeated requests and payment of a 50% deposit of $3,000 to P. Mulligan & Son Construction Co. (the "Roofer"). The Roofer proposed to remove what he claimed was a dead root, but in fact removed a still healthy mature mountain *********************, and then put up scaffolding in late April 2023 which has remained in place over a period of 8 months as of the date of this complaint. No attempt has been made by the Roofer to schedule the work. The scaffolding constitutes an ongoing security and safety hazard and is screwed into the house's mortar, thereby damaging the house, which is a brick Tudor. In addition, the scaffolding is a local eyesore. At a minimum, we expect (1) a complete refund of our deposit plus interest thereon (11 months as of the date of this complaint); (2) immediate removal of the scaffolding; (3) repair of the damaged mortar (or equivalent cost of repair); and (4) payment of the replacement value of the mountain *******
