Solar Wolf provided a 20 year warranty on my Solar Power System. I have not been able to contact anyone on how to transfer the warranty from Solar Wolf to me personally. I have a device that is malfunctioning and I have no way to get this resolved.Initial Complaint

The transaction was made March 6,2022. The amount I paid Solar Wolf Energy inc. is 30% of the contract, $6331.50 . This company committed to provide me with 20 solar panels of model SunPower335, installation, warranty, and monitoring for 10 years. The company Solar Wolf Energy Inc. sent me an email on May 23,2022 at 7:59pm informing me that they had filed complete bankruptcy. Back in April of 2021 I agreed to have solar panels installed by Solar Wolf and signed a contract on 5/10/2021, as per the contract I have paid on this date 5/10 $6624.00. in the contract itself it stated the Approximate dates in which my project will begin and be completed Per their "progress" i have made two additional payments of $6122.80 each. After months of getting no where/ Emails, phone calls etc. it wasn't until January 2022 that the panels were placed on my roof, the installation was missing a placard on the panel box and for that reason alone it did not pass city inspection on April 2022. Two weeks ago I found out that the company suddenly closed. So a whole year later I have gone through my savings and have the most expensive roof decoration and no solar. No one is answering phones or email and I do not know what to do anymore. Please help!!Initial Complaint

I've been trying to get a hold of someone from solar wolf for about 3 months, we paid to have modem on solar panels updated and when company came out to replace modem they couldn't take cover off of panel, called and emailed solar wolf because they were supposed to be sending someone out to replace outside unit as the screws holding unit together were stripped, haven't heard from anyone in 3 months, no phone calls no emails, the solar panels are on my fathers house and he doesn't speak English so I've been trying to get this situated for him but we are getting frustrated, even trying to call the 1800 number , gets you nowhere, my fathers name is **************** and address is **********************************, where the solar panels are located, thank youInitial Complaint

I contract Solar Wolf on 10/29/21 to install a new roof and solar system, put $8,404.80 at the time. Work was estimated to be complete on 2/28/2022 on the contract. They took until March 24th 2022 to submit permits to the town and I paid the 2nd deposit of $8,404.80 on that date as well. Last I heard from them was April 28th that they were waiting to hear from their operations department on an update. I also spend $2,200 on 1/6/2022 for tree work to be completed to be eligible for solar rebates I also filed a complaint with the state of Massachusetts Attorney GeneralInitial Complaint

Signed a contact with Solar Wolf on 9/8/21 and remitted a deposit of $8776.20. The contract stated work would commence on 11/30/21 and would be substantially completed by 12/30/21. A second payment of $8,776.20 was made 11/02/21 when we were told Solar Wolf applied for permitting. On 12/1/21 Solar Wolf sent an email confirming the permits had been submitted and that we should allow 2-4 weeks for processing. On 1/21/22, Jim ****** sent the following, " Quick update: both your electrical and building permits remain under review. Many towns are backlogged due to limitations with Covid". We contacted the town directly in an attempt to escalate approval and were told they had no record of any permits being submitted. On 1/24/21, I emailed Jim that the town had not received any permits despite his assertion that they had been submitted by Solar Wolf in November. The town received the permit request on 2/2/22 and permits were issued on 2/7/22. On 4/1/22, we requested an update on the installation via email. The reply from Jim ****** " As the weather begins to get warmer we will begin to coordinate install dates. As I am updated from operations and scheduling, I will reach out to coordinate a day for your install. I will continue to keep you updated moving forward. We are beyond frustrated at our inability to get an update on our project. It's impossible to speak to anyone- calls are routed to an anonymous voice mailbox and the customer service mailbox is full and cannot take any messages. I've been monitoring the Solar Wolf ( as well as the owner's) Facebook page and was alarmed to read yesterday that the company had closed. The owner states on his Facebook page that he will be contacting customers and " he intends to do the right thing and advocate for our clients." We've yet to receive any communications from the company directly.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract with Solar Wolf Energy on 03/31/2022 and I paid the initial 30% payment of $11,226.60. And now they have put a lengthy Facebook post that they are closed overnight due to their contractual issue with ********, their only provider of solar panels. Their emails are bouncing, nobody answering the calls and also their building is closed. There is absolutely no means to communicate with them. The number of people impacted due to Solar Wolf Energy closing is huge. Surprising that they were still signing contracts and taking money from people even within the past 1 month and it's hard to believe that the closing was all of a sudden and they had no inclination that something like this was going to happen. I am also worried if I will get the refund and how much of hardships, I need to face in order to get that.Initial Complaint

Solar Wolfe Energy signed contract with me on April 4th 2022 for installing a PV system exclusively by ******** 360 panels and I have paid advance of approx. $9000 in cash on April 5th 2022. Last few weeks they stopped all forms of communications (emails bounced , calls not returned) and suddenly posted a Official Release on their Facebook page on May 6th 2022 that their business relationship with ******** is severed , followed by another Facebook post on May 11th 2022 that they are closing their doors. No work is performed and the entire advance money is stuck with Solar Wolfe Energy. Due to their grossly incorrect representation, additionally, we lost the window of opportunity to install solar panels in 2022 as well as local , state , federal incentives , and prevailing rates on solar panels. Hence the realistic monetary loss is more than the $9000 cash advance that's stuck with Solar Wolfe Energy.Initial Complaint

I gave Solar Wolf just under $20k as part of the Solarize Yarmouth Program. They have since fired their employees and not reached out to any of their Yarmouth customers. I would like a refund.
