Argus Construction built a "temporary parking lot" in the field that abuts our apartments. On January 26, 2023 tenants of 139, 141, 143, ********************************************************* discovered 6-8 inches of water in our basements. We have never in the twenty years living there have had basement water issues. We looked behind our homes and saw the "parking lot" flooded. The ************** *********************** cited them for failure to protect property. When reaching out to Argus construction the manager was extremely rude and arrogant and basically told me they are not responsible and will not be doing any kind of communication with us.

Response complaint ********. The house in the complaint is in a flood plain. The flooding happened after a week of about 4 to 5 inches of rainfall. There was some puddling on my job site but water did not leave our site. There is a berm between the neighbors property and my job site which contained the water. The citation was given because she complained. It does not state we are at fault only reiterates that is our responsibility to protect from water leaving our site which is what we did. The engineers for the job came to the same conclusion. I was not rude to *******. If anything she was rude to me because she didn't like what I was trying to explain to her. I can be reached at ************ if you need to discuss further.
