My husband purchased me a Withings scan watch light for Christmas of 2024 so not even two months ago and the watch has stopped charging. I purchased 3 Withing Body scales which I received on Saturday 1/11/25, two white (Item Code ********) and one black (Item Code ********). I unpacked the black body scale, following directions:1. Downloaded the Withing App for iPhone; 2. Pulled tab to wake scale: 3. Press and held the pairing button for 3 secs. In doing steps 1 thru 3 and following the app, the body scale was never recognized by the app. Receive message in Red (any issue connecting your scale?) and 3 scrolling dots in bar beneath it.I then press the pairing button and observed the scale display, Ib was selected and above the word "Setup" the various languages scrolled through! Eventually the message "Faied Setup" occurs. This happens repeatedly even after removing the batteries and following the steps above.I opened the remaining two white Body scales and they did the same as above.Lastly, I have the Body pro from a closed Form Health acct and it does the same thing which is why I purchased new scale of which I only intended to purchase 1. I bought this scale in March 2024. It is completely broken and nonfunctional with the digital display remaining dark even when fully charged. The business has not been helpful in exchanging it for a working scale. I bought a Withings smart scale from Best Buy on 1/11/2024. It has a 2 year warranty with the company. I contacted the company. They had me send it back. I had to print a prepaid label and then go to a ***** and pay for packaging. I sent the scale back. I was supposed to get info about how to get a replacement scale. Instead, my case ******* was closed. I tried to contact them again and they closed my request again. I paid almost $100 for the scale and it didnt even last a year. I've owned their scale for a pretty short period of time and while I've had other wising scales that have worked well, this one has spontaneously chosen not to work. They make it to where their customer service is almost entirely inaccessible and wireless item is covered under warranty, I cannot get a hold of them and get them to follow up. Up. I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. In fact, they have repeatedly told me to contact the same dead end customer service chat where they can't escalate because it's "such a complicated" situation. It isn't.
I am stuck waiting on them to contact me when there are no complications. It's a clear stalking mechanism with no resolution.

There remains no effort to provide me with a refund or replacement item. It's been well over a month and the only communication I get is that I need to wait due to the complexity of the situation. There's no complexity in issuing or refund over replacement. There's no additional customer service or point of contact.

Support will just say my phones are incompatible I fear, but the watch could possibly be defective. Would like to return since it's non-usable. I noticed it was shipped from Best Buy, and best buy definitely accepts returns.

I have had the Withings Body Scan scale for almost a year now. It worked great for the first 9 months. The last three months readings have been very erratic. I often have to weigh 8 or 9 times to get a reading with body comp. I have gone round and round with withing support to demontrate the issue. Each time after going through tons of basic troublshooting info they agree there "might" be something wrong with the scale and say they are escalating to level 2 support. I never hear back. I am pretty sure that whatever metal or coating they use on the handle has become defective. This company does not seem to honor thier warranty and limit contact so that it is near impossible to even reach support. Responses recycle knowledgebase content. I am very dissapointed that Withings does not honor thier warranties. I am not sure how to get Withings to do the right thing.Business Response
