***********************. If I could give it a 0 start I would have. I had a car accident on 4/2024 and their accounting department didn't do anything. I had to work back and forth with my insurance and my ************** letting them know what to submit for my loan to get paid off because my car was a total loss. Then Santander holds on to the insurance checks so they can keep charging you interest and late fees so when they finally apply the check they said you still have a balance. My ************* check was higher than the amount owed. I have had auto loans before with Captila One, credit unions, etc and I have never had to do anything, everything was paid off on time. The manager when I called hung up on me. They have the worst customer service, like to steal from the ********************* and please get finance with any other company except Santander. ********** I have ever dealt with.

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BANK:This is the worst bank. Absolutely no customer service. My Dads Trust account turned into a huge mess! When he passed away we had his bank in ****** close his account and mail us a check. We went to deposit it into the trust account. They requested we put both trustees names on the account. Both people on the living will had to go to the bank at the same time. That took them a week to give us an appointment. We supplied them with the living trust, however they told us we needed to file for an EIN number from the government first. Once this was done, we were informed the check was made out incorrectly. We notified the ************* who was wonderful in helping with this matter. We sent them back that check and they had another check sent to us in the name of the trust. Santander notified us again saying they needed one of the trustees go to the bank to sign a paper they had forgotten. When the check finally got deposited into the trust account we were told it would take 5 to 7 days before funds are available. Two days later I received a call from the manager we were working with saying they had to send that check back to the Canada and it would take 4 to 8 weeks before it would be available. I just emailed that ******** back who informed me they made a wire transfer 4 weeks ago. In the meantime we get our bank statement saying that amount was withdrawn two days after I made the original deposit. The refuse to change the wording to pending. It doesnt look good for the shady ongoing excuses on why we cant get these funds. This whole situation has made us very uncomfortable. Stay tuned Ill advise when they release our money. **. My Dad had received a check from the same ************* a year ago and 3 days later he was able to access his money.

Do not bank with them! I have contacted them on what they state to be recorded lines 7 times and each call stated they would take care of the issue and yet still never took care of it! You are lied to and have to repeat yourself each call with someone who will act like they care, but do nothing about it! I cannot wait until my loan is completed to never have to deal with this bank again. They lie!

They do not make it easy for you to pay off a loan! They tell you to send a check to pay off the loan and that interest will be stopped on the day you agree to pay the loan off but they still keep charging you interest! I do not recommend this bank!

If I could give 0 stars I would! IVE HAD Santander for almost a yr and been screwed over multiple times with them Literally stealing money at this point. They came up with random reasons why my auto loan was apparently late which I may add I NEVER had a late payment! As sept I made a payment for 171. As they kept on saying I was late (well I wasnt and they saw that!) they said my payments would be made towards my sept payment and it was NOT! they are still saying I owe the full amount! Ive over paid them Ive done everything Im supposed to, you cant get anything straight from them and them stealing money and over charging is sickening!!!

The worst bank. I don't recommended at all. Worst customer service. No one knows how to resolve an issue over the phone or in the branch.

This bank is a fraudster's dream. Fraudulent activity seems be a part of their business plan. Extremely poor customer service. Despite being on all the usual blacklist for bank account creation, they have no problem opening fake accounts with my name and address but they can not send a simple letter to confirm that the account was closed.

They allow crooks to fraudulently charge your account. As soon as I am finished paying my car loan I will be closing my account. It's a shame that they associate with criminals.

Santander is an awful bank. My mother ***** there. She added my name to her credit card. When it appeared on my credit report in 2021, I reported it to Experian, but it is still there. She has called Santander 4 additional times asking them to remove me from her card. Its now affecting my ability to get a loan. Every time they say they have removed it and refuse to offer anything in writing. This is insane at this point.

I never go inside to do my banking. Unfortunately, I did today. It wasn't bad enough that I had a new teller that was taking forever and kept asking me what I wanted to do. I said I wanted to cash a 3rd party ck and withdraw money from my checking acct. He kept asking me the same questions about what I wanted to do and kept saying he misunderstood what I wanted to do and was s******* up w/which acct I wanted to withdraw from. At the next teller, a customer that the teller seemed to know walked in and was being super loud/obnoxious. He stuck his nose in my conversation w/my teller when I asked the teller a question. Talk about loving to hear the sound of his own voice. He was telling his teller a story after his transaction was complete and he was dropping a lot of f bombs over and over. He just wouldn't stop. He was so loud I don't get how no one else in the bank, like a mgr, didn't come over and ask him to stop. After repeatedly saying the same vulgar words over and over, the teller said he should lower his voice. He still continued repeating the same things. Finally, he left. Meanwhile, the teller I had was still trying to figure out how to cash a ck and withdraw from a checking acct. A 2 minute transaction turned into almost 10 mins. of having to wait for the teller that wasn't properly trained to figure out what to do and to listen to a buffoon.
