US Department of Justice, District of New Jersey vs. Lola Larios

The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the governments allegations, which have not yet been proven.

On 2/7/2019 the US Department of Justice, District of New Jersey, announced on 2/7/2019 that Lola Larios aka "Michelle Jacobs" is charged by complaint with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

From as early as January 2016 through January 2019, Larios conspired to extort customers of their moving company to pay drastically increased fees for moving services once the customers were in a vulnerable state and unable to refuse their demands.
