I have tried to contact them and no response on their end, starting on April 2, 2024. When I signed the lease for the rental space within the building, as it states in my name, (**** Notorious ****s). I perform **** services and nail content etc. I was never informed of a fume or odor restriction. This was not disclosed as I specifically asked about **** services. I could not use this space for my creation needs. At the time of the property tour and signing of said agreement, I was not told of any restrictions that would prevent me from providing nail services/creating press on nails. Since the representative that rented the space to me knew exactly what my intentions were for, This was an unfair representation of the space. This is definitely an office facility, not a beauty services/salon rental as portrayed. I was also told that there were other beauty professionals on my floor, including another nail artist, who left soon after I started my lease. I have not seen any other. I had been trying to pay this rent without being able to generate revenue in this space based on this. The various complaints from other renters of the odor and concern has completely restricted & eliminated my use of this space. Other renters on occasions have stood outside my suite door. Intimidation. Demanding to know what I'm doing. In all my services/press on creations I have to use odor causing chemicals. I terminated my lease in April, I had to pay the first month's rent, last month's rent, and security deposit before moving in. The agreement should be nullified under false advertisement/pretenses. Due to the fact that I cannot work there reasons explained above and my deposit returned.

This is co-working space. Our company is a travel company that has had a space there prior to Covid (which is another issue as they provided zero assistance for any kind of relief after many many requests). This complaint started sometime in May/June 2022 when Spaces under went a system security update on their website causing many of the businesses credit cards to disappear that were used for autopay. I was out of the country and was not notified that our **** was not paid until I received an email on June 30th stating the **** was overdue and a late fee of about $54 was added. I asked to have the late fee removed and manually had to pay the **** as it was going to take at least one cycle after reentering credit card information for it to get back on autopay. No problem except that they are unresponsive about the late fee. I have asked numerous times, the last being July 27th, and all I am told is that a ticket was started for evaluation by the billing ***** Today I was emailed a **** that is due on August 15th with the late fee still attached which they will take with the auto payment. Once they take the fee I will never get it reimbursed as they stop responding (which is what they did during Covid when I asked many times for some kind of relief from the monthly rent) .I have specifically told them not to deduct the late fee. Is there anything that you can do to assist? At this point it is the principle of the matter.Thank you.

RESPONSE:  Regus/Spaces did finally credit the late fee after many emails to them.  They first deducted the fee from my bank account and after a scathing email telling them I had filed a complaint with the BBB they then credited it back.  Unfortunately, this is how they do business.  They do not respond to issues until you finally give up.  The only we use them is for the address for our clients.
